Really hoping Neon Jungle at least manage another Top 10, Louder has grown on me so much recently .

I imagine they should at least manage a top 10 place, especially since it's been given the '59p treatment'~ (can't remember if the same happened with Welcome To The Jungle?)

First week streams are rarely more than 200,000, ergo MAGIC will be miles ahead on streaming - as above probably enough to secure an additional 7-9K over Cheryl which is likely to see the first instance of a sales #1 being denied the official #1 because of streaming. :o
We definitely should throw a party tonight on Buzzjack to watch the chart battle live at midnight

What battle? Isn't it incredibly conclusive that Magic are going to #1?

I mean, I don't know how she's going to beat them unless she does some STREAMING SIGNINGS or whatever the buzz term is these days. It's a massive worldwide hit or a pretty poor effort for a comeback single for me.

24. MAGIC! - Rude

29. Cheryl Cole - Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah)

'conclusive' isn't the word i'd use to describe this chart battle ~

(let's not ignore that Cheryl's pre-order has been top 100 for more or less a month + a half ~)

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion yet. What is certain is that MAGIC! will be ahead in both of their seconds weeks. This week I think it's still to play for, it will just be difficult for Cheryl.
I'm just looking forward to the meltdowns.

Mmmh maybe because they are very close on iTunes right now (23-29), because Cheryl will be around 5k ahead on pre-orders, because MAGIC! will be around 5k-7k ahead on streaming, so no I don't think it's set in stone yet. Plus you don't know what actual promo Cheryl's team could plan throughout the week if it's needed.

You're such a joy killer anyway. That's the closest of a "chart battle" we've had in ages and you try to kill all excitement. <_<

I think you'll find Applause vs Roar had me BITING MY NAILS OFF

Oh god, no one has talked about "meltdowns". We're just being excited about what could be an interesting chart battle. The odds might not be in Cheryl's favor so don't worry, we won't break down if she ends up #2. But this is a "chart forum" so what's the point if we cannot get excited about new releases and stuff?

It's a forgone formality that MAGIC! will be number one whether anyone likes it or wants to accept it or not.

Um no it's not. I couldn't care less about which of the two are #1, and I can clearly see with all factors taken into account that MAGIC! are more likely to be #1 but Cheryl still has a chance. Anyone who says it's 'forgone' is massively jumping the gun the tracks haven't even been released yet.

So what? We should stop posting in the forum about it and just wait for Wednesday midweeks?

Seriously people, I see no problem getting excited about this, what's the problem?

I should log in more. This is fun.

No one said there's a problem about anything and no one said you should stop posting in the forum about it.

With the two fake versions in the top 60 of Rude and the real one it's already top 10. I guess the demand for this song is much bigger. I'm hoping.

It's no forgone conclusion but I am confident that Magic will go to #1. Both will have big sales anyway.
