July 17, 201410 yr alexrange 60+ years old oops  I'm not so ancient. Those retro charts were compiled in 2012-2014 period.
July 17, 201410 yr How on EARTH could one know what their #1 on, say, September 16th, 1969 would be if they never lived in that period. :manson: This is both sad and creepy that someone can compile 52 charts consisting of 1969 songs while living in 2014 AND consider those to be their PERSONAL CHARTS. FIFTY TWO. PER YEAR. Jonna help us all.
July 17, 201410 yr 001 24/12/2011 - The Saturdays - Last Call (1 week) 047 24/08/2013 - The Saturdays - Disco Love (2 weeks) ^ 1 year 8 months 016 14/07/2012 - Rita Ora - How We Do (Party) (1 week) 066 05/04/2014 - Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down (1 week) ^ 1 year 9 months That's about as big as they come when your chart only started in 2011

FIFTY TWO. PER YEAR. Jonna help us all. I have very small interest (near with zero) in modern music and prefer to finish retro charts. There is many official old charts in Web for free. It's very good source for compiling of retro charts. Unfortunately, it's hard to find the date of release for many non-charting singles (even from 70s).  Most my retro charts are not very long (sometimes top 10, but mostly top 20). Some weeks ago I finally found Billboard Pop ME list, which include even pre-charts era. Don't want to start in 1920s, but 1949 year seems a good time for my first personal retro chart. July 17, 201410 yr 2 years, 4 months; Lady GaGa "Judas" (25/4/11) Lady GaGa "Applause" (19/8/13) 1 year, 5 months; Rihanna - S&M (7/2/11) Coldplay feat. Rihanna "Princess of China" (2/7/12) 1 year, 2 months; will.i.am feat. Jennifer Lopez & Mick Jagger "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)" (17/10/11) will.i.am feat. Britney Spears "Scream and Shout" (31/12/12) 1 year, 2 months; David Guetta feat. Rihanna - Who's That Chick (6/12/10) David Guetta feat. Sia "Titanium" (30/1/12)
July 17, 201410 yr You can chart 1960's song in 2014 charts - no one cares really. But compiling an entire YEAR worth of charts in just a few WEEKS OF 2013 consisting of songs from 1951 doesn't make them '1951 charts'. They are 2013 charts consisting of 1951 songs. Year-end lists like that would logically be fine really but more than that is cheating and making the term 'personal chart' look like a joke. (Love, Personal Chart Police <3)
July 17, 201410 yr Author My longest span of No.1's would be even wider, as ATB first topped my chart in 1999. For someone to have THAT much impact on you at the ages of 12 and 25 with new material are pretty incredible. Retro charts are impossible to compile imo as there are so many other factors that determine how much you like a song each week than just the other songs also out at the time.
July 17, 201410 yr Similar to Gooddelta, the record belongs to Daft Punk. Underworld in second place though, followed by Groove Armada and Arcade Fire. 11 Years, 10 Months, 3 Weeks (17/06/01 Daft Punk "Digital Love" to 12/05/13 Daft Punk "Get Lucky") 9 Years, 10 Months, 2 Weeks (15/09/02 Underworld "Two Months Off" to 05/08/12 Underworld "Caliban's Dream") 8 Years, 6 Months, 1 Week (12/08/01 Groove Armada "Superstylin'" to 07/03/10 Groove Armada "Paper Romance") 8 Years, 2 Months, 2 Weeks (28/08/05 Arcade Fire "Rebellion (Lies)" to 22/12/13 Arcade Fire "Afterlife")
July 17, 201410 yr The longest time for an artist to get another number one would be The Saturdays actually who took 2 years 11 months to do so (with their last being AFU in August 2011 when it premiered). Edited July 17, 201410 yr by Let Go For 2nite
