July 28, 201410 yr It's a good 7.5/10 song and all but such a brilliant year deserves to have a decent variety of winners rather than a Bad Romance roflstomp every time :( Can't complain about most of that top 10 although Poker Face and FFTL are way too high compared to better but probably lesser known pop songs like Battlefield and The Girl and the Robot. Uprising getting an AQ is brilliant and unexpected given this year's pop slant but my god I feel bad for the Prodigy (and Bré, so sorry for making you add this one up, that must have been SO painful). Finally, an obligatory lol at I Gotta Feeling (and at Gaga's fall even if I do like the ones that have fallen).

Paloma got one more point than 'Omen' so unfortunately that wasn't even an option :P (I was almost gonna go switch the top 2 in my votes so I could rig it into the top 35 but I chose to be HONEST instead). All of the ties in the results I've posted are broken by number of votes anyhow, then just alphabetically if that's the same as well, as Iz's spreadsheet doesn't offer any other easy tiebreakers. Actually The Prodigy catastrophe aside this is a fairly good set of results. Muse (re-?)gaining an AQ is fabulous news and Little Boots, Florence and La Roux are great additions to the top 10, especially with the dreadful 'When Love Takes Over', the overrated 'Release Me' and the horrifically dated 'Just Dance' leaving. 'I'm Not Alone' being replaced by 'Russian Roulette' is pretty bad though. And ha at 'I Gotta Feeling', although really I'm pretty surprised that was even still an AQ.

July 28, 201410 yr Never Forget You, Untouched and Sweet Dreams missing out on top 10 is crazy, two of the best singles ever in my opinion.. Loads of songs should be top 35 too - Meet Me Halfway, Party In The Usa, Omen and Waking Up In Vegas are all 10/10 moments. On the other hand, Florence + the Machine (x2), Rihanna and Lily Allen songs in the top 10 are great so it's good to see them up there.
