So very very excited. Little Machines is out September 23rd and you can already get first single 'Up We Go' as a pre-order bonus. MqRA09FVB2I#t=50 From first listen it sounds very much like the sort of Lights I love, more emotive and more like her (imo better) first album. (I've got this all in one thread as I don't think it will get very big but I can dream - this is my favourite kind of pop)
July 23, 201412 yr Whoooooaaaaaaa. Did Tegan & Sara co-write this, because seriously it sounds like it came straight from Heartthrob. Love that album artwork! I'm on board :o
July 24, 201412 yr Author I didn't see the Tegan & Sara comparison but now you've mentioned it, yes it does sound like Heartthrob! :o Don't think I've heard about them writing it. I was thinking of other high-pitched pop acts like CHVRCHES when thinking of comparisons. It's so upbeat and positive and I'm just a little bit obsessed with it now.

July 24, 201412 yr Author See, I just thought that'd attract Joseph to defend Alyssa's honour. Had completely forgotten about the irrelevant Alanis. :D (Lights is definitely still better though)
July 24, 201412 yr This is really good  I did like Siberia, especially Everybody Breaks A Glass, but it's nice to hear something resembling The Listening again!
August 14, 201412 yr Author tRedqQIEsh4 Yay a nice ballad. Possibly not her strongest but it'll probably grow on me like Where The Fence Is Low did.
September 10, 201412 yr I'm really liking Portal on first listen! Here's another new one, going back uptempo. xs_El8raCAY and the fab video for Up We Go: pFl7DhdGGzo
September 10, 201412 yr Author Running With The Boys is good too. And Up We Go gets better for me with every listen. Fun video, a little awkward but that's part of her charm, the end reminds me a bit of the Second Go video (with the camera crew and blatantly fake location) which now I think about it was basically the forerunner to Foxes' Let Go For Tonight video (in a different way but my train of thought is a weird thing). I really, really, really need the album!
