That wasn't boring at all.

It was nothing amazing, but had great dialogue and character development. I did expect them to save Beth already (or at least try to), considering how fast paced the season has been so far, so at the end I was like okay... And those 2 second flashbacks were annoying and pointless.

Apart from Rick briefly being in a Carol flashback in this latest episode, is 3 episodes the longest we've gone without Rick/Carl/Michonne? I miss Michonne! :snif: She hasn't really done anything this season. Carol's clearly taken over as the strongest female character (which is not a bad thing in itself, her character development has been wonderful!)

There's got to be at least some Rick next week? I think the show really suffers with the episodes Rick isn't present. I know it is pretty much an ensemble drama, but the episodes without Rick really struggle sometimes.

 

I thought it was a good episode, better than last weeks. It was nice exploring the city, and there was always an element of tension involved. I think this episode highlighted how full circle Carol had come (although anyone with half a brain already knew this). My only major gripe with the episode was the last 6/7 minutes. It all seemed very abrupt for Carol to be hit by a car, and there was a real lack of fight/emotion from Daryl. Just seemed too contrived, but I can live with it for story purposes.

Hmm, maybe. But I don't know, maybe towards the end of the episode/the last 15 mins or so, setting up for them attacking the hopsital I guess. Although I will more than likely be wrong! Haha. But I completely agree in the whole "it struggles without Rick sometimes" comment. He is my favourite in the show and I still believe that if they were to kill him off, then the show is over with, imo.

 

Oh and I agree about the last 6/7 minutes too! Nothing seemed genuine and like you said, far too contrived. It was (again) another good episode, but nothing in comparison to the first four episodes.

I suppose the last few minutes had to happen the way they did. With Daryl letting Rick etc what has happened, strength in numbers should provide some exciting scenes when they attempt to rescue Beth & Carol.

 

Think we'll be in for a treat with these last two episodes of 2014!

I think it was two in a row. The ep that would have been the third, followed him and another group (I think Glenn & Maggie).

More like a filler episode, just filling the gaps, the next 2 episodes seem rather predictable, with the rest of the gang to get Beth and Carol out.

I think Rick's group will definitely get airtime in the next episode. It depends what happens, because presumably Abraham et, al. are either going to still make their way to DC or will go back to the church. I'm not sure how they will structure it, presumably there will be an episode dedicated to getting Beth back, but I've no idea what will happen in the other episode.

I can't at them reducing Michonne to a f***ing babysitter.

It occurred to me during yesterday's episode - Judith always has lovely new/clean looking baby clothes on. That's not very realistic. :kink: (Well, not realistic in the terms of a zombie apocalypse anyway :lol: )

And where do they go the toilet? Do toilets work now? Do they bury it like cats?

The show needs a serious cull in characters right now. Beth, Sasha, Tyrese, Eugene, one of Maggie or Glenn (because they have run as far as they can go with their relationship bar another baby) and Rosita all need offing. Oh and Judith, having to have someone baby sit all the time is shit.

 

I would have added Tara to the list but she actually showed a little promise in the last ep to give the show a little light comic relief.

First time I ever cried watching TWD :cry: Deads are usually shocking and sad, but this one was TRAGIC :cry: :cry: :cry:
