This Alexandria storyline is really fascinating. I've not read the comics, but a couple of people who I have spoken to about the comics have said this is one of the most exciting and gripping parts of them (I avoid spoilers at all costs! ). I'm loving how they're so on edge about this place and how they're not settling in too easily. Carol was fantastic, especially! Playing up to the Alexandria lot to give them a false sense of security for when she needs to! *.*

I think we're heading for a main character death next week! 'Talking Dead' have Kevin Smith and Ross Marquand (Aaron in the show), along with "a special guest from the cast". UNLESS it's one of Daryl, Carol or Rick!

Very enjoyable episode, can't wait to see what goes down at Alexandria.

The beard is no more! :o :kink:

Agreed it's great to see them on edge and not fully trusting the new group - even though I suspect, they will turn out to be OK people.

Interested to see where this story goes now.

Carol blackmailing the kid!!! Hilarious but kind of unsettling in equal measure.

"You can never tell anyone. Especially your mom. Because if you do, one morning you'll wake up and you won't be in your bed. You'll be outside the walls. Far, far away. Tied to a tree. And you'll scream and scream because you'll be so afraid. No one will come to help because no one will hear you. Well, something will hear you. The monsters will come, the ones out there, and you won't be able to run when they come for you. And they will tear you apart and eat you up all while you're still alive, all while you can still feel it. And then afterwards, no one will ever know what happened to you. Or... you can promise not to ever tell anyone what you saw here and then nothing will happen. And you'll get cookies. Lots of cookies. I know what I think you should do."

Carol. Never mess with her.

Okay that ending was CREEPY *.*

I'm really starting to enjoy TWD again! About bloody time. I really like it when there is some semblance of 'normalcy' (as weird as it seems to be with Alexandria).

Poor horse though!

OMG Carol! :o

I'm really enjoying Alexandria and how it's affecting all the characters. It's nice to see them all safe and happy for once (although that probably won't last for long because it would get boring).

It's definitely a different dynamic to the show that I'm really enjoying so far... seeing them living and interacting in not only a safer environment, but one which is almost like how life would have been like prior to the apocalypse. The prison could never have felt like normality.

It's interesting to see how most of the characters have have adapted to these new surroundings really quickly, albeit cautiously, while Daryl & particularly Sasha are struggling immensely with it.

The main woman in charge at Alexandria really intrigues me. I'm looking forward to learning more about her!

The Alexandria arc is how Woodbury should've been, tbh. I love it so far. I hope they ARE actually good people. I guess it is Morgan that is going to ruin it all?

FUCK YOU FATHER GABRIEL. FUCK. YOU.

 :drama:

That's thrown a mini spanner into the works for how I thought Alexandria was going to be!

Poor Noah!

It's been ages since an episode of TWD was that gory! :o

I could have done without the explicit gore - after all - you can pretty much imagine what it would be like to be eaten alive by rotten corpses (or maybe not).

It was the intrigue I was enjoying. Gabriel should be shot in the ankles then thrown to a couple of church-going zombies! Abraham was fab and even Eugene did his bit (I have a soft spot for Eugene actually - he's cute in a weird sort of way).

I'm not into incredibly gory scenes either, so I was quite surprised it suddenly made a comeback to that extent! It felt to me like it was perhaps the goriest episode they've done to date? I think it's a bit of a shame that they considered

Noah

to be expendable, hmm.

Something had to go wrong, it was inevitable, but somehow I didn't expect that to be sparked by Gabriel (in fact since they arrived in Alexandria I'd forgotten about his existence  ). With him saying what he said, plus the death of one of Deanna's sons, I can see things going south very quickly.

The actor who plays the character had got cast in a new pilot, so considering they were a recurring character I'm not sure whether it was the producers/actor's decision.

Last night's episode was great! It was Andrew's best performance as Rick, yet! SO MUCH going off and building for a great finale!
That ending though! Like wut even was that.
