Why is Jai Paul not getting the amazing points it deserves? :(

this is Danaelanda calling. Firstly we'd like to congratulate Varake, Ojnoj, Trifoski, Utopia, Tinnmark and Unovia for sending great songs but unfortunately we couldn't vote for them.

 

Before we reveal our 8 - 12, here's a quick run-through of 1 - 7.

 

1 point goes to Persephonia who have a nice future house tune. We hope it doesn't flop too hard.

 

2 points go to Fljotavik whose entry is nice and upbeat despite not being dance, plus I love the strings in it.

 

3 points go to Jamvale. How can you go wrong with a violin solo in a dance song eh?

 

4 points go to Eledan. I can't understand what they're saying but I don't care when the beat is this good.

 

5 points go to Mdice with their take on Zedd's Follow You Down which I think is better than the original, with its fast tempo, energetic drop and beautifully pitched vocals.

 

6 points go to Yehesi. It may have got more points if it was entered last month, but

 

the song remains a great tune.7 points go to N DNTN. Once again they send a great house song which is deserving of many points. Sadly it just misses out on the top 3.

 

Getting our 8 is Allecian's Armenian Girl. With its upbeat vibes, unique sounding vocalist, the instrument in the drop and her sassy attitude in the song, it's a dance-pop entry that we can really get behind.

 

Getting our 10 is Aeroche's Beautiful. Being tipped to win, it is no surprise that Danaelanda loves this. What a well thought out house song.

 

Our 12 however goes to Ethanola's Lost You. It's got all the makings of a house jam, and whilst it was a close battle between Aeroche and Ethanola, this just takes the lead. Both are amazing in their own way though and we'd be happy with either winning.
