August 6, 201410 yr That's not actually a laughing matter now, why's it fallen so much? They need adverts and fast, This Era must be relatively cheap being a greatest hits and First Choice supposedly paying for WAYWF. They would easily get back any funds spent on Advertising. If this album sells peanuts, I'll be really angry because the album was lingering around the #400's for ages! C'mon management and the girls! Us fans put the effort in buying all these versions, paying for tour tickets. You could at least appear to be actively doing something, it all just seems so lazy!
August 6, 201410 yr That's not actually a laughing matter now, why's it fallen so much? They're just not around enough. I get that they're starting tour rehearsals today, but I'm sure that could wait a little bit to do some radio shows and stop this era from being a laughing stock. Promoting the album/single will sell the tour tickets they're rehearsing for anyway. And if they can't be arsed to promote, where are is the TV adverts? Where are posters on the tube, buses, billboard? I've seen loads for FKA Twigs on bus stops, who also has the iTunes banner and as a result is currently #131 on iTunes.

August 6, 201410 yr I'm actually a bit embarrassed for them. This is like Tinchy Stryder/Devlin levels of irrelevance.

They don't even hardly have any promo. 2 of the promo slots mention in the promo thread have already been shown on television and they were for NGU :( Edited August 6, 201410 yr by JSG
August 6, 201410 yr Still abysmal given how late it is, but WAYWF is JUST outside the top 1,500 now: 1499 Sinéad O'Connor Take Me To Church Pop: 552 Sinéad O'Connor Take Me To Church Download 554 The Saturdays What Are You Waiting For? August 6, 201410 yr How did I not know OneRepeblic had an album out this weekend too?! Is it a re-release. How on earth have they managed to release on such a busy week during such a dry time of year for albums?! Edited August 6, 201410 yr by Joe.
August 6, 201410 yr How did I not know OneRepeblic had an album out this weekend too?! Is it a re-release? I think so. I'm certain Native was released last year after Counting Stars?
August 6, 201410 yr I think so. I'm certain Native was released last year after Counting Stars? Ah, it's not as bad as I thought then. Though, it's still another album higher than them on amazon AND iTunes. Another luke-warm competitor that could have easily been tackled if they'd properly promoted this album's release. It's so funny (sad) and typical. This week's top two albums are Ed and Dolly who were top two last week. There is NOTHING big in the album charts. Ed will sell about 25k and Dolly will sell about 10k, they would have easily made top 2 releasing this week. But it's looking like top 5 will be a struggle next week. August 6, 201410 yr WAYWF POP #557  (They should be top 1500 by the end of the night.) FINEST SELECTION #619

The only way they'd manage top five is if the constantly plug the album in promo, give good performances on promo and just pray people go out and buy it because they recognise a few songs on it  I think this thread is also relevant again  Greatest Hits Predictions
August 6, 201410 yr 421 The Saturdays Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits (Deluxe) 152 FKA twigs LP1 187 OneRepublic Native 170 The Gaslight Anthem Get Hurt (Deluxe Version) Album is now 398 - It's still way off competitors, but it's the highest it first went on iTunes. August 6, 201410 yr I think National Lotto on Saturday night is probably the most ideal promo spot they could've gotten. Not only is it at a good time with a decent audience, but it's also just four hours prior to release.
August 6, 201410 yr I haven't even pre-ordered it yet. Got no moneyz. It won't take the money until release day! Pre-order it!
