Therefore presumably they're happy with the amount of money made and therefore don't think it's worth promoting to shift more copies or would rather focus on the tour. Maybe the figures are higher than we think? Or they just have a very low target?

What happened? Oh, right *nothing* happened. ShadyP. April has a good point. Either they have sold more physicals/preorders/whatever than we think and are completely fine with the numbers they have right now (#1 or not) or either because of the single bombing completely (i heard they weren't expecting such a abysmal response) they don't have much expectations for the single nor the album (and with the next album coming soon, it's possible they have already moved on sadly). I don't think they had that much expectation for the Greatest Hits to be honest. It was never going to sold something like 200k, promoted or not, no matter what a few fans thought. Greatest Hits just don't do it anymore so they are just cashing in our money, some cash from the public and the tour is most where the real money is. I wouldn't even expect something great out of this tour, they will probably keep the costs really low to make even more money. Yes, obviously, if they were promoting, the tour would sell even better, so would the album...but maybe in terms of how much the promo costs, it's just not worth it? :unsure: I feel like this campaign is about more than making the usual money from an album release. I think they are doing to pay for all the costs they had with the LFTW campaign and its (almost) nonexistent sales.

I genuinely think The Lotto would keep that song in the top 40, if they were to perform it. It did peak at #103 and spend a week in the top 1,500. August 5, 201410 yr The chances are they released this album, to do the Greatest Hits Tour. As that tour would sell more than one for a specific album such as Living For The Weekend ever would.
