October 12, 201410 yr I absolutely love Rochelle's awkward hand movement at 0.40 in this. And Mollie's miming
October 12, 201410 yr yTFUhMhJ7kI How have I not seen this! :o They did this as a "medley" of sorts with Ego like on GMTV with I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, but with a much shorter version of Ego, starting at the second verse. The GMTV version was the same as the Blue Peter short version which cut out Rochelle and Una's solo's so went Vanessa, Frankie, Mollie, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus, IWITBCE
October 12, 201410 yr How have I not seen this! :o Maybe it's fake  :kink: I don't even remember seeing this :o Brilliant though!
October 12, 201410 yr Ready for them to slay my life with that Xmas album! They better release it now
October 13, 201410 yr Mollie's on Radio 1. She's on the Teen Awards panel. Fearne is now playing Disco Love, which was released just over a year ago now! Happy Birthday to Disco Love, the Saturdays' last hit.

October 13, 201410 yr so is this album happening? is it? i feel like its not :S I doubt the album is actually happening. There's next to no hype for a Saturdays single right now and I can see a Christmas single missing the top 40 if I'm being honest and the album missing the top 40 which really would be the final nail in their coffin. If they were releasing a single in December it should be premiering within the next 10 days. AlthoughI think The Saturdays are trying to finish their contract with Polydor by releasing a greatest hits / Christmas album with no plans of releasing two singles. Mollie is recording solo, Frankie will be touring with Strictly, Una will be a judge on The Voice, Rochelle will be appearing more on daytime shows and Vanessa has signed a contract with a modelling agency (Getting Drunk).
October 13, 201410 yr Yeah, sadly I think Lee is right. I can see them doing little gigs and appearances together in the future, as there is no bad blood between them, as with certain disbanded groups. But the failure of the previous single and album was the real nail in the coffin, :( . There's no point spending money and time releasing music if radio aren't on your side to advertise and sell the music.
October 13, 201410 yr hmmm if that is the case, i think i would have preferred more of a fanfare goodbye with the greatest hits. at least then we could have had a lovely end and some closure. i've always regretted the way the spice girls never gave me closure, and then i get built up with reunion talk etc and even more disappointed when it fails to come to fruition. at least with girls aloud there was a final end and you could move forward :(
October 13, 201410 yr As much as I would want one in the future I don't think they will release a goodbye album or message. If anything this would've been it. I think they've had a brilliant run tbh. They'd still be ending on a good note as it was only last year when they scored a #1 and further top 20 hits (including one this year) Edited October 13, 201410 yr by Neil. S
October 13, 201410 yr I just think What Are You Waiting For limping in at 38 is a bad way for them to end. They're better than that. I'd much rather they released 808, or Walking Through The Desert, and announce the split. A new single, plus the decision to split, may renew some interest in the Greatest Hits?
October 13, 201410 yr I think the public have moved on now, they're just not really relevant anymore. Walking Through The Desert and 808 wouldn't chart top 40 and I don't think an official split would do much more than influence people to make annoying 'Finally' or 'I didn't realise they were still together' jibes. The only way to become relevant again is if the radios started playing them again, and that's highly unlikely now. But like Niel said, they did really have a great run.
October 13, 201410 yr I didn't realize Frankie was going on tour with Strictly too. :( Ugh. I guess they are going to take some time out then. Damn. :( Well done 'Gentleman' you piece of shit.
October 13, 201410 yr Has Frankie confirmed going on the Strictly tour? There will be a tour but not everybody goes on it.. Maybe The Sats can join up with the tour and do a few songs while they're waiting for the results each night  Edited October 13, 201410 yr by Scherz
October 13, 201410 yr Well done 'Gentleman' you piece of shit. I don't blame gentleman at all tbh (maybe a tiny tiny tiny bit). There are plenty of other artists radio one support whose songs haven't even gone top 100 or peaked the same place. It's really just because they've aged and radio one started supporting other girl groups such as Neon Jungle, indicating they've moved on. If Disco Love was released after it would've only prolonged this inevitable ditch for some time. Edited October 13, 201410 yr by Neil. S
