This is actually really good! My only qualms is the message is slightly cliched and I think the lyrics and video comes off like it's rapidly forcing us to believe it rather than making it come naturally. (I'm not sure she looks entirely comfortable in the video either, I must admit) BUT as a song itself, it's really catchy and solid and already amongst her best work for me (not particularly hard given I Knew You Were Trouble is the only one I really like).

She's definitely undergone something of a Miley Cyrus-esque transformation over the years, remember when she was using Romeo & Juliet metaphors?!

Ultraviolence is gonna come stab you for that.

I'm guessing from that that she likes the song.

I can't speak for her, but I have seen hints that she is fond of it yes. I can't be sure though.

You're very lucky *I* haven't stabbed you yet for your shade.

That's a goddamn lot of places to be #1. Like seriously.

Just heard this on Radio1 as it's Track Of The Day.

Catchy! No doubt be #1

This is so great. I've listened to it four times now. Had no idea she was releasing a new song until today. It's maybe my favourite release of the year. Great, great pop song.

I have now bought the video and put it on my iPod, phone and iPad. I love the video and song so much

It's only the 2nd video I have ever bought, the best video of all time being the other one (telephone)

I will do an update tomorrow on where it is on my iTunes most played but it could really crack the top 25 :cheer:

I've just seen this for the first time this evening. It's all very try-hard isn't it. The speaky/rappy bit reminds me of Girlfriend by Avril, this whole song is kinda that concept in the sense it is a great departure from what we'd expect from Taylor. It's a good song don't get me wrong, but I am not sure if it is a good song as being by Taylor Swift.

This is insanely catchy! I'm on board for this 'pop Taylor' atm. It's not as good as 'I Knew You Were Trouble' or 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', but it's going to be huge.

Echoing this sentiments, it's all sounding very Avril.

this is incredible!!!! how the hell

haven't liked anything of hers before at all either

:o you don't like IKYWT???

This has finally made an appearance on my most played on ITunes [iPod only]

 10. Bastille- Pompeii

 9. S Club 7- Reach

 8. Jordin Sparks- Battlefield

 7. TAYLOR SWIFT- Love Story

 6. Bridgit Mendler- Ready Or Not

:ne: 5. TAYLOR SWIFT- SHAKE IT OFF :cheer:

:right: 4. TAYLOR SWIFT- I Knew You Were Trouble

:right: 3. TAYLOR SWIFT- You Belong With Me

:right: 2. Idina Menzel- Let It Go

:right: 1. TAYLOR SWIFT- We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

So Taylor continues her dominance even more by scoring her 5th song in the top 10. Shake It Off is already in 5 and will be 2 in no time
