The obvious choices: 'Moments' / 'Timebomb' / 'Thousand Miles' - in that order hopefully!

As long as 'Thousand Miles' closes the era out I'll die happy

i think she's gonna get dropped tbh

No negativity in this thread thank u

Don't let the door knob hit you on the way out

Dropped from her label?? Why would she get dropped from her label? That doesn't even make sense. She's doing very well for a new artist. Her label would have to be morons.

The thing about Tove is, she has serious connections with some of the biggest Swedish names in pop music. She's not some nobody off the street. She's a part of the Wolf Cousins, a collective put together and headed by Max Martin and Shellback. That's about as upper echelon as you can get in pop music. She's not going anywhere. You don't think that with her success and connections that she couldn't find somewhere else to go if she had to?

Besides, the music industry is changing. She could go back to being an independent artist and self-release her own material and because she does so well streaming, she could make more money than she does now. Even more if she created her own publishing company.

Loads of places didn't sell 'Queen of The Clouds' or didn't have it properly on display. hence why physical sales cost the album hugely. #8 on Digital chart...... #78 on physicals...Eek

Mess. One can only notice the vast difference in promotional abilities her UK label has in comparison to her label in the US

I also think the fact Habits/Stay High has been so long ago in the UK didn't help either, whereas in the US the album was released when that was still becoming a hit there

I initially disliked 'Timebomb' but it really stands out from the album in a very good way for me. It's such an accomplished yet complex pop song. It had the best audience reaction from the album tracks during her Rock in Rio set, and was the set closer. It's very likely it will still be the next single I think

Her performance of 'This Time Around' during Rock in Rio made it fully connect with me, it's a solid 9 for me now. It's fantastic how emotionally connected she is to each song and it really shows in her performances, bar 'Like Em Young' of course. If 'Like Em Young' were replaced with 'Scream My Name' though - I couldn't think of a more perfect album

Moments is a solid 12 out 10 though (sorry Timebomb) and I still think it's a SMASH in the waiting!

The thought of Moments as a single gives me GOOSEBUMPS! It was what teared me up the most during the Rock in Rio set

I think Moments would be an incredibly powerful single, but there's an issue. She said in a recent interview that while she thinks censoring is dumb she usually doesn't have a problem recording a clean edit, but with Moments she refuses to do so. I don't know how it works elsewhere, but in the US there are 2 kinds of radio stations - the kind that just bleeps the"offensive" words (thus keeping the song intact and as close to the original) and the kind that play clean edits. She'd lose a large chuck of audience.

I think that song is that special one from her, because it's the only one that she wrote completely by herself. It means she hammered out the melody and lyrics and I suspect she didn't want anyone else touching it. It's understandable why she's so protective over it.

There's already a clean edit of "Moments" on Spotify, if you look through her singles there. It sounds kind of ridiculous though, warping down "f***" before she says the whole word. Definitely loses some of the impact.
Right, but I'm talking about replacing the F*** with something else like in Talking Body's clean love edit. To me a clean edit is re-recording a song with different lyrics. I should have clarified that. She would allow the bleeping out, but not re-record it replacing words with others.
I'd only given this album a couple listens and the only album track that really stood out to me at first was "Moments", which I love. But I gave the album another listen today and aaah "Got Love" *.*
