September 12, 201410 yr It's like an all you eat buffet of DESSERTS *.* (with the odd COFFEE number thrown in just to keep me from getting too complacent)
September 12, 201410 yr "Haven't I seen you somewhere before... I didn't recognise you with no clothes on" I have to admit I love Celebration, it's just so fun! It isn't as innovative, classic or huge as her classics or anything but I think it would have to be in my Madge top 10 <3
September 13, 201410 yr I for one am pleased that 'Celebration' is so high. It was made for weekend night parties, shown by a couple of members enjoying it much more after listening to it late last night. It may not be regarded as a classic but there's no other Madonna song like it and it certainly blows the socks off of any other dance songs of its kind! The album version has always been my favourite but I've really been enjoying the Benny Benassi version as of late! The MDNA Tour version is also fab; perfect tour closer.
September 13, 201410 yr 'Celebration' is alright ^_^ I think it deserved to do better than it did either way.
September 13, 201410 yr When I saw Celebration that high I thought to myself "yeah, that's a good song and I'm glad it did well". Then I clicked play - oh dear. It was such a let down. Why did I think I liked it? :(
September 13, 201410 yr Author The only thing you can depend on is your family Rx0mYN32Kps | 13 // Jump // Confessions on a Dancefloor // 8.31 (5: tyler, pippa, 6: triangles, jay, joe., // 11: haus, 10: mr_aly, jark, gezza, liamk) The #1 Madonna song in this Haus, is Buzzjack's unlucky #13. The fourth and final single from 'Confessions on a Dancefloor' and the continuation/predeterminer of 'Forbidden Love' and 'How High' respectively, it's one of the album's many, many perfect moments. Following on from the vulnerable 'Forbidden Love' it acts as a huge leap of life once more as she rallies round to those around her to once again start moving and LIVING. The song is a techno-dance infused anthem on self-empowerment and wonderfully captures everything that is right about the album; stunning beats, hypnotic sounds, her gravelly/lower tone and inspiring lyrics. The verses come in with such vigor and power as she assumes her authority, and the infectious chorus repeatedly returns with joyous, arms-to-the-sky, quality every time. The final minute in particular when her voice gets more and more distorted, while she continues to leap is exceptional. The entire album makes you get up off your feet and dance, but here it's done with meticulous vibrancy and such a strong-will that it leaps above the rest for me. The only point of contention i have with the song is the music video, which while fun and vibrant, doesn't quite capture the magic of the song. It sounds incredible at any point, but it's made for those long, lonely walks in the night where you just lose yourself to her.
September 13, 201410 yr 'Jump' is good but for me it falls a bit flat in between 'Forbidden Love' and 'How High'.
September 13, 201410 yr I was trying to do some strategic voting with that 5. But, after listening to the album it's another 8/10 moment. I also remembered how AMAZING "Let It Will Be" is! That's my favorite on the album after "Hung Up". JUST WATCH ME BURN. 🔥
September 13, 201410 yr I also remembered how AMAZING "Let It Will Be" is! That's my favorite on the album after "Hung Up". JUST WATCH ME BURN. 🔥 I love 'Forbidden Love' & 'Isaac' Good result for 'Jump', only recently rediscovered how good it was.
September 13, 201410 yr This countdown is full of surprises! I was so sure 'Jump' would have been Top 10. I suppose it shows it was a good idea to hold this countdown in the pop forum rather than the Madonna AF as it gets the interest of more causal fans, thus giving some shocks and twists! Another dance-pop classic from Confessions, very single worthy. Stunner!
September 13, 201410 yr Every song on the album is at least a 8/10. Issac is glorious, so haunting. "Wrestle with your darkness, angels call your name" <3
