Regina's Pick:

41 • 82 | Flower

42 • 81 | Better Than Today

43 • 80 | If Only

46 • 77 | Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi

46 • 77 | I'm Over (Dreaming Over You)

46 • 77 | Enjoy Yourself

48 • 76 | Wouldn't Change A Thing

48 • 76 | Speakerphone

Our last batch before the top 40, ooooo. We lost some really gorgeous songs here. Probably the most personal single Kylie has ever released, Flower is head of the class here.

Aphrodite single Better Than Today not far off it. Kiss Me Once highlight If Only, PWL lush single Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi follow next. Three more PWL songs come next,

Enjoy Yourself from....Enjoy Yourself, I'm Over (Dreaming Over You) and Wouldn't Change A Thing all come from that album too. We end on Speakerphone from X, a song that is enjoyed by Madonna no less.

Flower narrowly missing out on a top 40 position, such a sweet sweet song. I'm Over (Dreaming Over You) and Enjoy Yourself both from the often under-rated Enjoy Yourself album done very well and both managed to beat wouldn't change a thing. I have always felt I'm Over (Dreaming Over You) was a much missed single opportunity, both this, and, turn it into love from her debut would have managed to become top 5 hits easily had they the honour of single status.

Better Than Day, a what will be forgotten Kylie single, a single many fans should feel have never been selected as a single, a song i feel was a good choice of single (low peak, not her worst sales) and much stronger than Get Outta My Way has done better than i expected in this pole.

If I do not make it home tomorrow from Edinburgh, the top 40 might not happen, so.....#Pray4Regina

Flower, such a beautiful song and should have been a hit or at least given a proper release. Better Than Today and If Only both great album tracks. Je Ne Sais Pas Pourqoui and Wouldn't Change A Thing both among my fave singles of hers and I'm Over Dreaming and Enjoy Yourself were definately the best album tracks apart from the singles. Speakerphone which again a great album track and should have been released in the USA instead of All I See.

40 • 83 | Where The Wild Roses Grow (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds feat. Kylie Minogue)

Just squeezing into the top 40 is this 1995 hit duet with Nick Cave, a stark contrast to her other duet partners, I can't imagine Jason bashing Kylie's head in with

a rock. This song was one of her biggest hits during her DeCon time, but then, it wasn't hard to manage, it is also Nick's biggest hit to date.

Love where the wild roses grow, its up there with her strongest de con material, done well here in Ireland reaching number 6 which was great at the time as her ther singles had bombed here. Kylie herself refers to this track as a song she couldnt imagine her career without.
Where The Wild Roses Grow is a stunning song, but it did take me a while to get into when I was a kid, but when I grew up I fully loved it, can't believe it only peaked at #11 here in the UK, it should have been at least top 5
Peaking at number 11 was disappointing but its rapid decline out of the charts was even more disappointing, certainly a Kylie single that was a real grower that was complimented by one very fine video.

39 • 84 | Come Into My World

The 4th and final Fever single next. I was never all that amazed by this song, it is one that really comes alive better when she performs it live, also the Fischerspooner

mix is far superior, IMO. The video is a stark contrast to the other 3 from this era, namely, she is fully clothed and not in a space age type setting. It's the best of the era though,

the walking through Paris with all those extra Kylie's is fab.

I can only agree, the song does come alive when performed live. It is a good song, it performed well as a fourth single but it is my belief Fever would have served as a better single and would have showed yet another side to the album for those who has not purchased it at that point in time.

I did vote for Devotion after all :P

38 • 85 | Hand On Your Heart

That video makes my eyes bleed, horrid. Kylie seems to agree too. First single from Kylie's second album Enjoy Yourself, this was a major #1 for her, obviously.

It, like most of her other PWL songs, it has not aged well, but it is still a lovely little song. I didn't actually see this song ending up as high as it has, but it's still nice to see.

Hand On Your Heart should be much higher. one of the best of the PWL era and still sounds fantastic 25 years later. classic video and puts you in a good mood!

37 • 87 | Limbo

We have an album track from, from Kylie's second and last DeCon album, Impossible Princess. A song that really should have been promoted to a single, lead single infact. It

might not have been a huge hit, but it might have done better than Some Kind Of Bliss and given the album some hope for success. A dark and powerful dance track, it really

is one of the best on IP and indeed one of the best songs Kylie has done, so happy it has enough fans here for a comfy top 40 spot.

Limbo is a strong album track, too strong in fact to be called just an album track. Hand On Your Heart, memories memories, i vividly remember the week it climbed to number 1. I was so looking forward to the Top of The Pops performance. I feel the song has aged reasonably well, i am not sure how much Kylie likes the song herself as she has not performed it on tour a huge amount of times but the original is good and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

36 • 88 | What Kind Of Fool (Heard All That Before)

Now HERE is a shocker for you all. I never in a month of Sundays thought this song would get much votes, nevermind be almost top 30 in this countdown.

The lead from Kylie's first Greatest Hits package, her last album for PWL, this was not a big hit in any form, and was a bit of a stpe back in terms of sound. However, it is

a typically Kylie song and one that I have a real soft spot for.
