She sounds absolutely amazing! The song is not something I wouldexpect for a Rih lead single but it's good.

 

Apparantly according to The Rolling Stone this is a Kanye single that'll most likely end up on Kanye's album and could possibly also end up on R8 but I don't think this is the actual lead single.

Well this is awful.

 

First I had one of those YT links whose song had been replaced with an instrumental of something but it started really good so I was hopeful. Then I realized it wasn't real *cries*.

 

But yeah, this ain't good but then I usually only live for her singles so as long as those are bangers.

i think this is quite clearly a kanye single given the fact that he's worked with paul mccartney on much of his new album, also rihanna's team would never launch the lead single from an album 2.5 years in the making with a silent release of a song on a sunday with the same unusual pairing as a single first premiered a week or so ago (kanye/paul)

 

what basis are people calling this her single? the fact her name comes first on the itunes credit? that's no proof at all...

The fact that her website are advertising it caused a lot of confusing + her tweeting about "her new music" with a snippet of this

i guess it's just because it's the first time she's been in the spotlight for some time / connecting up the social media for biggest impact

I saw somewhere that it's supposedly on hers and Kanye's albums, which would make sense.

The song WILL feature on both Kanye's upcoming album and R8. As Cremey says, i doubt it's her official lead single, but it does apparently give a feel of what the rest of the album will sound like. I think they're treating it as Kanye's second single though?

There are rumours the DJ Mustard stuff was scrapped and the direction of the album u-turned completely. Also rumours it won't be out for months yet. We'll see...

well either way i think going in an ed sheeran direction would be a total misstep. i don't know who that would really appeal to?

I imagine these are true tho. I;ve eard rumours about grammy releases/superbowl releases but Home is coming in around March so I highly doubt they'd release 2 Rihanna albums so close to each other

First releases of Home are 19 March.

 

I feel like this was just a teaser as she'll probably be busy for the month or so promoting Home and the soundtrack.

Kanye has tweeted it's HIS single but will be on both Rihanna's album and his!
