What about it is "shit" though? I understand personal opinions differ, but it's a beautiful version of the song and I'm quite shocked by the hate it's receiving here. Is it purely because it's a slow cover therefore it's boring? Instrumentally and vocally it's as great as most of their other songs. Imo there's far worse songs remaining on the above list. There's at least 10 I'd think of targeting before 'Shape'!

It's wonderfully sung but if you polish a turd you are still left with a turd. The melody is plodding and the sample in the chorus is ghastly. I have fallen in and out of love with Shape over the years and it's to do with the abysmal song it's a cover of. It's got nothing to do with it being a slow cover, can we not put words in my mouth thanks. Some of their slower tracks are wonderful. Shape doesn't even come close to them.

 

I love Siobhans solo material far more than shape. Same with Mutya's and there it's by far their worst single remaining. Thus bye shape.

Shape is better than About Poop Now and About A Jade, darls.

Thanks to everyone who has voted these past couple of days, great to see a thread in this forum can muster a good 26 votes considering there's not much Sugababe related news lately. So another tie means we lose Mutya Buena's 4th single 'B Boy Baby' which somehow spent two weeks in the top 75 in the UK, I remember it being all over the music channels but no where on iTunes! Secondly we lose Siobhan Donaghy's first solo single 'Overrated' which I do think should have left by now, much prefer her follow up single and even more so prefer her follow up album! Which reminds me I ordered her debut album from Amazon a few weeks ago now and it's still not arrived...
