A fun disco pop song feeled with saucy lyrics and a huge sing-a-long chorus, what's not to love? :wub: Birthday was the fourth single taken from Katy's album Prism, it wasn't as successful as some of the other album's singles but charted at a respectable #22 in the UK and #17 in the US.

It is really her at her most basic/annoying. The difference in quality between it and Wide Awake is astronomical, very glad it's not staying any longer.

Nope, I'm totally with you there. Wide Awake feels horribly basic to me, too. Part of Me is a Jam. Fits somewhere in the middle for her singles - quality-wise for me.

It definitely shouldn't be leaving this early. I find "Wide Awake" to be one of her worst singles.

Birthday's not that bad actually, shame doesn't deserve to go first, went for Part Of Me this time, then Thinking Of You next
