Aw I would have hoped Dance in the Dark would have been higher. Still they're really good totals for the Fame era tracks

Updated with the Joanne tracks!

Those sales for Is That Alright and Look What I Found are great.

Such a shame that neither managed just one week top 100.

Is That Alright I think is a song what would’ve soared if its was performed on a TV show or dare I say it used on Love Island!

Love Island is that big in the UK? Just started watching the american version, pretty sure they are about to cancel it due to abysmal ratings

btw I was really surpirsed to see Look What I Found above ITA.

Also, kinda disappointed none of the The Fame (Monster) tracks are above 100k. Always thought Starstruck deserved to be a single due to strong US sales (over 800k pure) but seems like it wasn't nearly as successful in the UK.

It’s the biggest UK show atm! And definitely the biggest show ever on a digital channel.

Songs what have been used on it have had strong download sales following the show.

Songs like Freya’s Lost Without You and Tom Walkers Leave A Light On were used on last years show and went on to become huge.

Are Joanne’s sales combined?

Joanne the single that is between the album version and the piano version which was released a stand alone single? (The one what won the Grammy).

Not sure, gonna ask the guy when he delivers more numbers I asked for.

39k for 'Venus' even though she performed it on both X Factor and the Graham Norton show. Eek.

thank God it was never the 2nd single. This way, she only has one huge bomb (G.U.Y.) imagine having two singles in the same era selling less than 60k

I still can't believe 'G.U.Y.' bombed SO spectacularly. I didn't expect it to go top 10 or anything but jeez :drama:

Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE and Gypsy should’ve been the ARTPOP singles after Applause tbh. They’d have all at least gone top 40 and sold a lot more than what GUY did. G.U.Y did have a strong video but by the time it was released the album was well out the top 100 wasn’t it and it did nothing for the campaign.

I’ve always loved Applause and at the time I did kinda dig DWUW want but it’s not one I’d go back too now.

I feel with ARTPOP though it was kinda cool to not like her and she was just the female at the time who wasn’t in favour. It happened to Christina in 2010 and it happened to Katy in the witness era. I feel it just wasn’t her time at that point to have a huge era.

Was Venus scrapped as the second single by Gagas label? I get the impression she wanted it to be the second single I think she even shot a music video for it didn’t she? But DWUW started taking off and overshadowed it? Was DWUW a promo single upgraded to single or something like that?

Well to be fair it was released during the transition to the Streaming era, and we all know how tragic Gaga's streaming stats were back then. I'm sure it'd have done much better if it was released during the time of Spotify/AM playlisting. Still a flop, but not a massive bomb it was in 2014.

Sexxx Dreams was the original lead single, wish they sticked to it and then released Applause.

She scrapped Venus just days before she was about to start filming the video.

'Monster' and 'Always Remember Us This Way' never being singles is such a f***ing mess

Fixed

Just Dance is at 966,714 pure copies at this moment, and since it's doing only 2.6k pure copies a year, it's quite unlikely it'll ever reach the 1M mark in pure sales :(

Also, Shallow just passsed 200k in pure sales.

Thanks so much for all these sales figures, BigMixer! Really interesting!

I wish Do What U Want had managed to reach 400k/Gold.

I'm looking forward to Telephone becoming a millionaire! I guess it won't quite manage it in time for the 10th anniversary of the video, but it'll be close.

DWUW has reached gold, you probably didn't notice the "*" next to it's number ;)

I think it's at ~430k with the three missing weeks.
