‘Telephone’ crossed the 1 MILLION units mark in the UK after going #1 in 2010. 🇬🇧

With 5 singles crossing the threshold in the UK (‘Just Dance’, ‘Poker Face’, ‘Bad Romance’, ‘Shallow’), Lady Gaga is the artist with the 2nd most million-selling singles after The Beatles (6).

^Not true I'm afraid, many artists have more million sellers. Ed Sheeran has 17(!) for instance. Still, I'm thrilled to see 'Telephone' pass the mark, truly deserved!
OCC have revealed that Telephone is on 999k  so will definitely pass 1m as of tomorrow's chart.

Is that 999k in pure download sales or combining streams too?

I expected it to happen but seeing it written like that is just surreal!

She really got her biggest selling single with a 2018 release :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

I’m also confident she’s got some more huge hits to still be released now. If she can get sales like Shallows at a time when the public support for her wasn’t all that she can get them now when support is bigger. The Ariana release for example should definitely become a millionaire.

The Ariana collaboration has smash all over it, giving the radio treatment SL has got in the UK. I think it'll do well here, I'll be surprised if it's not a top 3 hit.

Albums and promo/album tracks all updated as well now. ^_^

Do we know if Always Remember Us This Way and I'll Never Love Again were singles in the UK or just album tracks?

We also need a sales update for the following, if anybody has official figures:

- The Remix

- Born This Way: The Remix

- So Happy I Could Die

- White Christmas

- Chillin

- Video Phone

They were both sent to UK radio so I'd say they were singles.

As of August 2019:

235,406 The Remix

46,129 Born This Way: The Remix

Thank you!

The Remix has sold more than Joanne :cheeseblock:

Not far off ARTPOP either! :o

I think some of the sales for The Remix were a bit dodgy as it re-entered the Top 200 around the time A Star is Born was released and it was achieving similar streams as The Fame. Going by its total from before streams were included in album totals, it has still outdone Joanne.

Tbh I'm surprised The Remix did as well as it did back in 2010. It's a pretty niche type of release and I don't remember it being particularly promoted. I guess it's just testimony to how huge Gaga was back then.
