I don't mean to sound like I'm having a dig, but why don't people just vote for the song they actually dislike the most and let the results occur naturally rather than forming alliances and tactical voting?

 

I mean, this is what happened with the Gaga one and the results ended up looking like a mess.

I was thinking the same – surely the results would be more representative then!

Ugh. Do Somethin' got 3 votes max in each round until round 15 where VERY MIRACULOUSLY the number rose to 10 and now it's 14. Ridiculous :/ Can everyone get a mind of their own please.

 

 

Okay, I might not be voting for HIAM (which is my least fave right now) myself right now in favour of targetting something less liked and almost as bad as the aforementioned song, but conspiring to get something out is going too far. IT'S NOT BIG BROTHER US!!1

I think ultimately that there really hasn't been an alliance vote that's gone through! I mean people tried to take out Sometimes and Do Somethin' last round to save Radar, and that didn't happen.

Radar was on 0 people's radar (~) ONE round before it got out. It's just TOO WEIRD for a coincidence. And it's been happening with like every song recently. 0-3 votes, then 10 the next round and if lucky it survives until the next round but no further. Provided that more or less same people vote in each round, surely ~7 (out of ~10) people who eliminated last song couldn't ALL dislike the same song the most out of the remaining ones?!

it'll stop happening as soon as we get down the the legit popular ones. i know ive had a few I've hardly cared between in each round and just find with the one that seemed most likely to beat break the ice, ha.

Yeah but 70% of those going to the same song?!

When it almost went out in the last round? Yes.

 

Last round had a little over 40 votes and Do Somethin' had 10 votes in the end. Radar had 11. So far Do Somethin' has 14 votes, which is a 40 % increase. Sounds plausible to me. Assuming those 4 votes came from people that voted for 'Radar', then more than half the votes have gone too different songs.

 

I don't think there is too much bandwagon voting going on, but some is inevitable.

And exactly what votes have disappeared? I don't think anyone on this forum is that invested in the poll to fix the vote... So what exactly are you trying to say.
