08. Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Bittersweet

Huge fan of this pop diva. Her solo material after theaudience = great, 2nd album = meh, 3rd album (TTLF) = One Of The Best and then this single comes along. Thank you Freemasons, you fantastic production piece! I've always had a bit of a sweet tooth for Ellis-Bextor's classy, sophisti-pop. This is no exception. Such a fun and classy pop ditty that was so underrated in the charts! I have a huge crush on her and her vocal style. Stay classy, Sophie!

07. The Prodigy – Omen

This. This is what I was waiting for, for a long, long time. They hadn't released an album for 5 years and I loved their sound from 'Experience', of which I discovered in late 2006. The Prodigy came back with a bang and this was their lead. How awesome is this tune? It's so hype and mental. If any patterns were to go by, The Prodigy should have released a new album this year, but these guys are very unpredictable. Come back soon guys, we need more material!

06. Kate Nash – Do-Wah-Doo

One of my favourite female artists of all time. It's all because of this track. This track lead me to her 'My Best Friend Is You' album, but that was mentioned previously. This song has such a great old rock 'n' roll/doo-wop style which is understandable as to why it flopped in the official charts. It stood out way too much in the much-too-generic chart and people didn't want that sound. At the time, I went against the norm and enjoyed this track so much. Early into 2011 I went to see her live and she was just as great live! Her new material is very riot grrrl like and I like her change in style on every album. Keep it up Kate!
