Avicii has teamed up with Robbie Williams for a new song called 'The Days', which is apparently the first single from his new album 'Stories'

 

Here is a short clip of the single.

 

 

Sounds like a typical Avicii song but doesn't sound too bad. A strange collaboration though.

As usual with Avicii's tracks Robbie Williams will be uncredited. Sounds semi-promising but I would really have liked something more along the lines of I Could Be The One than Wake Me Up/Hey Brother.

Unexpected collaboration. :o I wonder if a Madonna one will surface, or if that's specifically for her album.

 

I don't really like the sound of that, but I'll wait for the full thing.

On paper this is my nightmare :lol: the clip sounds pretty crap and generic Avicii too, yawn.

Sounds amazing from the preview I just hope the whole thing is just as good.

The drop sounds nice but Robbie Williams has to be my least favourite singer of all time.

wouldn't be a bad idea actually. Lord knows she needs to feature on a dance track if she wants another hit single

I agree, I adored him right up until he became massive with Wake Me Up, then he just lost me :( I know that sounds completely faux-anti-mainstream but in this case, it's true.

 

Still, I'll listen in the hope it's something better.

I'd love to see an Avicii vs 1D battle again and see them lose to bring down Cowell's ego but I just don't think it could happen again unless this turns out to be the best Avicii track ever and can sell similarly to Wake Me Up (which would take some doing!)

 

I think this is almost as random as Ed Sheeran singing on a Martin Garrix track but I'm looking forward to hearing this in full :)

First post after lurking for well over a year - bear with me!

 

Really looking forward to some new Avicii material! Sounds good on a first listen, although I have a random hate for Robbie in general, so will have to get over that.

 

Is it certain that this will be the new single, however? Just this week another single appeared online, and is apparently going to be included in the FIFA 15 Soundtrack.

 

 

EA Sports confirm a new Avicii single on the Soundtrack listing (I can't include a link because I haven't posted before!), and multiple sites online are claiming 'The Nights' will be the single included. I don't know how trustworthy they all are though...

 

Would be extremely happy with an Avicii album in Q4!

I hope 'The Nights' isn't anything other than a FIFA 15 soundtrack single, it's not brilliant.

 

The Days sounds better imo, I wanna hear the whole thing :(
