Getting the wooden spoons out of the way now - Tartford had a taste of success last month but 'Wouldn't It Be Good' sees them plumb to new depths unfortunately, receiving a mere 8 points. They still get the deluxe wooden spoon though because the basic wooden spoon for the floppiest of the floppy is awarded to Persephonian arch-nemesis #3 Allecian - 'You Think You're A Man', perhaps not helped by its appalling sound quality, came dead last in semi 2 with a paltry 5 points.

Forget all fears of FSR Rontvia repeating their infamous three DNQ streak of last year as they truncate the floppage at two this time, with 'Moonwalk Away (Moonlanding Mix)' seeing them back into the final. Meanwhile Aeroche, responsible for an out of the blue prediction for said Goldfish track to win, go through as well with 'DSL Dream Corp', a third qualification in a row but if we ignore the outlier of 'Howling' they're on a ridiculous streak of nine top 10 finishers. Can this make it 10?

I expected as much.

Serial DNQers Tinnmark add another to their collection, 'Passasjer' is a very nice song but nice doesn't quite cut it and it mustered up a total of only 12 points. PRoJ don't quite get the null-pointer they were aiming for and indeed miss last place but 'England Sings Rhubarb Rhubarb' emphatically DNQs as expected with 10 points.
