An untitled demo from Dev Hynes (meant for 'Britney Jean') has leaked. I'd love to hear her do something like this (probably because I'm a sucker for a Dev Hynes produced/penned track ha), would've certainly been much more welcome than what 'Britney Jean' turned out to be, for me anyway.

I remember early reports for the album saying he had contributed to the album, but I guess will.i.am sort of taking over put an end to that.

I feel like this would have fit quite nicely after 'Alien' on the album!

I feel like the whole album would have been so much better if Will.I.Am. Was NOT the executive producer! There are tracks from Danja that weren't used for the album either. :(

I'm starting to think all this "artsy fartsy" stuff would've turned Britney Jean into an utterly boring album. Yes, different maybe, but boring. And all these demos that are surfacing at the moment, none of them are game changers, so why take a risk with something that is not even THAT exciting to begin with?

A second demo is also out there:

Oh my. How I would have loved this album so much more had this been the sound. It would have been another game changing album for her! Completely different to anything else she has done before and sonically, it would have been the perfect contrasting alternative album to 'Blackout!

Oh man. will.i.am really does need to stop, doesn't he? :(

EDIT: I love this comment from him too...

Hynes also told the Guardian previously he counts himself a Britney Spears "fan." He said, "maybe just a bit more than most 27-year-olds – she's such a huge part of our growing up. And I'm just not sure whether Will.i.am or whoever really care about her."
That last part!!! *.*

!!!!!!!!

It's so true! Her label thought it would be a smart move after the success of S&S, but I'm not sure that they realized BRITNEY was the reason that song was his biggest solo hit, even though he's tried to replicate it several times already and has failed. You can hear an internal war of direction on 'Britney Jean', and that's mostly to blame with the execution of wills production choices.

OK, that second demo is the artsy fartsy I WANT... it sounds super experimental which is what I love about the likes of Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Thom Yorke and Björk.

I'd love if Britney went experimental for her next album.

ROFL at the will.i.am produced BLACKOUT. It's so true though -_-
