Massive lead already! :D

There's another version of 'Shine' at #61, but 'Black Magic' is pretty much selling twice as many copies at the moment. :cheer:

Yeah. Move would always have been their best one. If only their chart runs were switched around!
Amazon Germany are selling a 4 track Cd single of Black Magic which is released on 17th July. I can't believe a physical CD single is not being released in the UK, given the popularity of this song.
They're very different tracks, going back to Move for a second. It's an incredible track but definitely as commercial and immediate for the charts as Black Magic is, so it's not surprising that this is doing better even if I wish Move could've been a #1 myself.
'Black Magic' has held up incredibly well in the United States, it's not dropped out of the top 300 on iTunes and is now #147 with no radio airplay or promotion. I think this will be their biggest US Hit and will at least manage to peak within the top 50.

I'm thinking 'Black Magic' could have similar success to 'Want U Back' by Cher Lloyd in the US. Probably bigger eventually!

I'm not sure if I can see 'Black Magic' peaking at #12 and selling over 2 million. I really hope it can do that well of course, but I'll be quite happy if they can get a Top 40 hit.

I wonder if Black Magic will be close to touching 100k on Monday's midweeks. The way the chart is now means that the first midweeks will have much higher sales by combining the pre-orders with the weekend effect/streaming. (Though if Spotify data is missing this won't happen)

What a poile of absolute utter dogshet.

I confused it with a cheap-o nasty soundtrack song for a straight-to-dvd Disney channel release.

What the hell is this song about?? Does it mean ANNNYYYTHIN??

Um ... no.

And the video, they steal someone´s average lookin Twilight werewolf wannabe boyfriend? Ummm ok.

The Spice Girls coulda released this back in the 90s and it would still have been the cheesiest thing goin.

This is such a Spice Girls 90s-wannabe pastiche track.

And their cheesy expressions and cheap magic in the video!!

On the other hand, the toggles of the shoes move when they levitate, showin technology is advancin even with the small things.

I'm assuming the video didn't quite have an Avatar esque budget to be fair.

A very mature and well written post. I'm also going to come back with a mature response.

Well it looks like the 'official' upload of the Cahill remix has been uploaded :D

The EP is now released on Spotify and iTunes.

It has the Cahill, LuvBug and Acoustic

69,000 sales on the opening midweek information, this figure is very good but i do fear it wont sell as much as i originally thought it would.

It's not amazing after the seemingly huge pre-orders, but I'd never imagine it'd even get close to 100k when it originally premiered, so I'm chuffed. Plus, there's streaming data missing, so I imagine that will add another ~10k to its total by the end of the week (assuming it performs as well as Tinie Tempah/Jason Derulo on Spotify etc).
