3. [2] [2] Kristen Bell Ft Idina Menzel- For The First Time In Forever Sales: 1,646,440

For The First Time In Forever was one of this years early giant hits and spent 4 weeks at 2nd behind fellow Frozen song Let It Go which is still to come. After nearly falling out of the top 20 in March, the song starting to perform massively again and went back to the top 5 in April before finally leaving the top 20 for good in July or August I believe. It has shifted over 2Million copies including 2013 sales and 1.6M from this year alone. What is the biggest selling song of the year though? I'll give you a hint that there is around 5.5M copies separating the top 2.

3. [6] [1] Lana Del Rey- Ultraviolence Sales: 2,144,840

To show how big this album was, every single song from the standard version entered the top 40 [all but 1 top 30] when the album was released. Lana Del Rey has had a massive year and Ultraviolence spent 6 or 7 weeks at number 1 and has been top 10 for every week since release. The most impressive stat about Ultraviolence though is that it had the biggest ever opening week for an album ever with 443k sales.

2. [:ne:] [1] Taylor Swift- Shake It Off Sales: 2,427,740

Hey Hey Hey. Taylor storms straight in at 2nd for the biggest selling songs of the year so far with Shake It Off which is the 1st single from her 5th album 1989. The song is flawless, the video is flawless and Taylor is flawless. It has spent 5 weeks at number 1 and has sold a gigantic 2.4M copies in only 6 weeks. Now everyone go and listen to this sick beat

2. [2] [1] Paloma Faith- A Perfect Contradiction Sales: 2,738,500

What a year Paloma has had officially and in Ultraviolenceland. And A Perfect Contradiction won't stop earning any time soon with the deluxe version on the way. The album has topped the charts for 6 weeks- 4 when released, 1 in May I think and randomly returning to the top last week again. The album has sold a massive 2.7M and will look to pass the 3M mark eventually.

So who's at 1 in both charts?

So The Biggest Selling Album Of The Year And The Biggest Selling Album Ever Is

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Frozen.png

1. [1] [1] Various Artists- Frozen Soundtrack Sales: 10,059,130

This is the only album to ever sell over 10Million copies [however Lily and Duffy will make it to that mark very very soon] and just rides on how big Frozen has been this year. And should we continue the massive sales for something to do with Frozen.

The Biggest Selling Single Of The Year Is

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/IdinaMenzel-LetItGo.png

1. [1] [1] Idina Menzel- Let It Go Sales: 7,885,590

1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-1-1-3-5-1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-1-1-4-8-9-3-6-4-5-9-11-13-18-5-12-10-7-13-6

This 2014 only chart run should be a clear explanation for why Let It Go is the biggest song of the year so far. Anyway if it's not, then here is your explanation. It will surely become the first song ever to spend over a year consecutively in the top 40 [possibly top 20], it has spent over 30 weeks in the top 10 and sold over 500k on multiple weeks that it was number 1. Let It Go is a beautiful, amazing and fabulous song and is one of my favourite songs ever. Its sales total including 2013 sales is 8.7M which makes it the 3rd biggest selling song ever in my charts

Thanks to everyone who read and commented and please still comment

You can now request songs for sales and artists outside the top 50 singles and top 40 albums including Buzzjack's well liked artists such as: Pixie Lott, The Saturdays, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Foxes, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, 5 Seconds Of Summer and more
