Sadly with the app voting Overload will be saved for a few weeks. I cant see Steph or Blonde electra avoiding the bottom 2, but it will probably be one automatic elimination for whoever is dead last and a sing off for 2nd and 3rd bottom, cant pick who will be the 3rd along with those 2 in danger?

I think Blonde Electra will be dead last and gone. Steph against Stevi with sing off, with Mel voting for Stevi to go, Simon for Steph to go, Cheryl for Stevi to go and Louis to spend 10 mins making a meal of things. Saying he doesn't think Steph is very strong but is more commercial, Stevi more entertaining, when the producers will have already told him to vote Steph to go to take it to deadlock in which Steph will go and Stevi will stay.

The odds are really against Stephanie, I spent my five app votes voting for her because I do think she will progress an incredible amount in the upcoming weeks.

 

In the ideal situation Overload will be eliminated along with Stevi but I can't help but think if it's Stephanie vs Stevie in the bottom two then Stephanie will go which will annoy me as if Stevi survives the judges will begin complaining that it's a singing contest further down the line if there's shock exits (Maloney etc)

I hope they dont do the boring old "oh lets cause controversy" thing and get rid of a potentially really good act thing. We lost Carolynne, Aiden and Lucie because of that :(.

Oh they'll definitely continue to do that where possible. :( I believe they have Stevi back for a reason and they'll want their "money's worth" from him, so to speak. Which is a terrible shame! I'm sure he's a nice man but I just don't have time for such a tired old "joke act".

Oh I'd say that's a good shout actually :( I can totally see Stephanie being the Carolynne to Stevi's Rylan. She is one of the more commercial of the bunch plus she has real potential but she's had limited screentime and has yet to fully reach it... Plus she had an iffy song choice (though not as bad as Carolynne's random guitar version of Starships) last night which isn't doing her amy favours.

 

Although I'm not even sure Stevi will be bottom 3... :/

I can see Jay going very soon actually, he gives me strong Kye Sones vibes.

I dont see who would vote Stevi though, I didnt find him funny? Blonde Electra are the better novelty act I think.

 

I would like to think the over saturation of males on the show would cause a lot of split votes and lead to a possible shock exit tonight, but I doubt it. The only distinctive male singers on the show are Jack and Andrea really. The rest merge into one.

Yeah a Stevi and Stephanie sing-off is very possible and I agree they'd do a Rylan/Carolynne with them. But I still think Jay is the most likely one to join Steph and Blonde Electra in the bottom 3, but Stevi and Lola will definitely be there to fill in if there's a surprise.

I could definitely see Lola being a swift exit in the early stages. At the end of last night I'd actually forgotten she'd performed! Not that she wasn't quite decent, but she was forgettable.

I'm not sure what the producers' plans are for Lola. After all the airtime she's been given at each stage of the competition including being the final person to get their result in judges houses, it was set up perfectly for a very high-key return this week. But what we got was a 10 second clip of her getting told she's a wildcard and then was put on second in the running order - one of the worst positions, if not the very worst, if we are to believe Eurovision statistics.

 

But yes, I think the producers definitely want a Blonde Electra, Steph and Overload Generation bottom 3 judging by everything that happened last night (and Sofabet, who are well known for analysing everything, seem to agree) - hopefully they don't get their wish (except for Overload Generation! :kink:).

The running order will be different this year in terms of its effect on the outcome with voting starting from the beginning of the show. With these free app votes it is very easy to use them frivolously when someone early in the program does well as they don't cost you. Then someone might be better later on but you have used up the votes.

That's a good point, I read earlier that the only other series they did voting from the beginning of the show was in series 9 and that caused early bottom 2 finishes for Carolynne, Melanie, Kye and Jade despite all of them performing in the final 3 positions in their respective shows. So yes it could give us some surprises!

I can see Lola definitely going, as for the second it could be Steph, Blonde Electra, Overload or even Fleur going if think.

Outside the top 3 favourites for elimination (Steph, Blonde Electra and Overload Generation), Lola is the only one whose odds are shortening across several bookmakers which could be a sign that she's in a lot of trouble!
