Posted October 9, 201410 yr so it appears this lady is getting a uk push at some stage and this excellent (more indie-leaning i'd argue) track is an excellent starting point. yes it does sound a bit coldplay in one part but it's a credit to the song that this does not destroy it.
October 9, 201410 yr Finally. White Light Moment should have been a major No.1 here (and everywhere).
October 13, 201410 yr It's no White Light Moment or Call My Name but what a tune <3 very unique and catchy.
October 18, 201410 yr I think this is really strong. I have White Light Moment already so don't need another of those, this is a pop track worthy of being a Santigold highlight.
October 19, 201410 yr 7zhwihAXMlI fact for dr bitch: this video was shot on svalbard A place I desperately want to visit very soon!
October 26, 201410 yr Really love this now and not sure how I took quite so long to get it. Such swagger in the verses and such an earworm of a chorus. It's part of an EP due out on November 23rd that features three other new tracks, a remix and the Borderline video, all for £1.99. Borderline itself is available as an instant grat from the EP. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/borderline-ep/id925016794
October 26, 201410 yr Meant to say thanks to Jake for the recommendation, but I downloaded it last week from the EP and have had it on repeat a lot over the w/e.
October 27, 201410 yr This is SO GOOD <3 discovered this through Hype Machine at the beginning of the month and now I'm hooked.
November 5, 201410 yr I just saw Tove live. The bad news is she performed NONE of her old material (not even White Light Moment :() but the good news is she was fantastic and her new tunes are beasts. There's a song which I presume is called Impossible which sounds amazing, Tangled Up era GA meets Florrie, so good
November 5, 201410 yr Author head of music at r1 is very keen on her so don't be surprised to see her name popping up on sound of... and undoubted playlisting in the new year
November 5, 201410 yr You may be right, Borderline and the EP have been removed from iTunes. Sad times as I was looking forward to hearing it but it does suggest that a push is perhaps planned (even if it's only an 'In New Music We Trust' buzz single type affair.
November 8, 201410 yr Yay, somebody recorded the gig she did the following day. The amazing song I heard is called Ego, there's a live version here, the studio version is going to be amazing  FuNxSKg9V1U In other good news, the EP has been put back up for pre-order on iTunes with another new song, although annoying not Ego, looks like a long wait for this.
November 10, 201410 yr Author http://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music1/v4/d2/b6/f2/d2b6f219-d841-72d3-b9eb-9d4a419a35de/886444954136.600x600-75.jpg 1. Borderline 2. Samurai Boy 3. Brag 4. Walking A Line 5. Borderline (Salvatore Ganacci remix) 6. Borderline (Video) november 23rd, lovely i agree
November 23, 201410 yr Author well i've just parted with £3 of my banking funds to purchase the ep and i am not disappointed, a seriously good mission statement, the production is so cluttered and reverby but it absolutely works. a kalidoscope of influences thrown into an everything but the iamspamspamamisink scenario. she's etching out her own idiosyncratic style and sound and i see no reason why she shouldn't be the big cool pop thing for 2014 and quite rightly so ª.ª
November 23, 201410 yr My pre-order is currently downloading! (I only pre-ordered it to get the Borderline instant grat a few weeks back) Should be good, I recognise all of the songs by name from the London show!
