So, I heard this for the first time last week and meant to post it but forgot!

 

This is a weekly list of the 5 biggest dance tracks to be played in the week by the Radio 1 specialist DJ's including Annie Nightingale, Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac to name a few!

 

I think this is a good indicator of tracks that could be huge hits so I will try and update this every week so feel free to share your thoughts! I will work on the format too as its a bit basic!

I happened to catch this on the radio today as well! 'They Don't Know' is pretty good.

Yeah I was listening while I was at work! I'm obsessed with that Armand Van Helden remix of Majestic's tune it's epic just can't wait for January to get it!

That Armand Van Helden remix of 'Creeping in the dark' sounds immense! Is this the record that's getting the mainstream release in January, or is it just a remix and the normal version will be pushed instead?

 

Could do with a radio edit too.

I don't know yet, the pre order shows the original and the remix as a package but I'd imagine this will be altered before January as I think the AVH remix will be the one that gets pushed. I'm really hoping we get a good radio edit

Hannah Wants was very nearly my BJSC entry this month, I got as far as doing an edit of it before changing my mind. Love the track though.

 

Hannah Wants is such a good track, nice to see it impacting the chart here!

After listening to Rhymes for the first time as someone's BJSC potential (not Dandy*'s oops) I was left a bit underwhelmed but wow it really is quite the grower, sounded brilliant on Danny Howard tonight!

 

Yoohoo and They Don't Know are quite good house tunes as well.

 

Imperium is a good comeback for Madeon, doesn't quite top the brilliance of Icarus and Finale but it's nice to have him still doing his unique production style

I very nearly changed my entry to 'Rhymes' as well, but I was put off changing when it got a negative review from a certain someone I expected to love it (not naming names but they've implicated themself in this thread already so you can figure it out~). Ended up finding a song I liked even more anyway. Maybe it'll turn up under some other country (I'm obviously not gonna send it any more :P)

I bet it'll end up being a hit anyway. Radio 1's dance shows seem to be pushing it a lot (and of course it has a prominent spot on Annie Mac Presents 2014 as Math just mentioned).

I think it sort of is bigger than it seems, I thought it would be a veto in the end (plus JohnKM responded to my PM with: It depends on whether you want to be able to look at yourself in the mirror again. It is like going to Lidl to buy a cardigan, it might look ok on the surface, but it chafes and brings you out in a rash for weeks, ruining your social standing. !!! )
