I actually liked all of his + era singles and Don't, but I just hate Sing & TOL (and I See Fire)

It sounds like a lost soul classic from the 70s crossed with a typical Ed song.

Absolutely amazing accomplishment for Ed to be getting a #1 from a second post-album single from an album which has already sold loads. I don't think any Q4 releases are going to outsell the album.

Others have already said it but what an achievement for Ed to get a post-album #1, given how well the album has already sold. A few weeks ago I predicted that TOL would be a Top 3 hit but even I'm surprised it's (almost) a dead cert for #1 now. What was the last post-album #1 from a half-decent selling album (i.e. not 'Counting Stars')
