'Pretty Hurts' is giving me LIFE tbh. Such an amazing song, possibly one of her best :wub:

 

'XO' is fabulous, if not a bit overrated in terms of how much people love it. And the Jay-Z duet is doing absolutely NOTHING for me. Other than that, pretty solid album!

Phenomenal album.

Blow will be the International single then and for US Pop Radio where as I can only see Drunk In Love being for US urban radio. I love Blow but I would have thought XO would have been the obvious choice to lead the single campaign with. At least it is third I suppose. I also think after Blow and XO that Partition and Pretty Hurts should be the next two singles.

Blow gives me life, jesus f***. I love Pretty Hurts, Blue, Drunk In Love, Mine and XO as well, but it's a brilliant album overall - I'll rate after a few more listens.

Would have thought 'Pretty Hurts' was the other obvious single after XO.

She's topped the iTunes album chart in over 100 countries, breaking the previous record of 94, held by One Direction. Billboard also reports that album sold 80k copies in 3 hours in the US! She's headed for her fifth #1 debut in the US, which will make her the only female artist to have had five consecutive albums debut at the top spot!

I'm actually obsessed with this Album I've listened to it none stop since it has come out . My Favourites are Blow, Pretty Hurts ,XO , Flawless , Partition , Mine and Drunk on Love but I pretty much like them all . The only one that is not really clicking with me yet is Rocket but I'm sure it will eventually .

Whoever thought of this is quite clever. No promo, announcement, single etc has worked out so well! Not sure that it would work for many others though..

Very much so. She completely outshone Katy, Gaga and Miley by a mile in the pop female album race. I don't think I have been this addicted to an album since 'Channel Orange'.

Well if by "thought of it herself" you mean "saw what Kanye and Jay were doing and decided she'd do something similar", sure..

I'm not sure it's really the same, because despite the lack of singles and conventional promo for those albums, they were still announced weeks/months in advance rather than just suddenly released out of nowhere.
