The Disclosure link has helped it hugely here, least of all because her vocal addition to the 'F For You' remix last year was big with R1/their 'audience'. That's fair enough like I said in another previous post nobody can really prove their 'view' of radio 1 additions to their playlist unless someone sits on the playlist meeting. And as Mango said the debate has been going round in circles for months and it's up to radio 1 who they playlist :)
November 8, 201411 yr Why is it Ridiculous? They don't "have" to A List anything and anyway I bet its getting mass plays on commercial stations so it's not like it's missing them. The thing I like about R1 is the fact it A List's different genres and not all pop. This is what I love about Radio 1. They take a chance and give high rotation to songs regardless of their chart position, especially post-album singles!

Instantly preferable to Capital and Kiss! Although since the taxpayer funds R1 they can afford to take a chance on less mainstream records while Capital NEEDS the listeners so sticks to chart music.
