The song Nicki debuted on the EMAs tonight "Bed of Lies", which features Skylar Grey is the next worldwide single according to Twitter.

The song was supposedly produced by Alex da Kid (Massive Attack, Airplanes, Love The Way You Lie), but this is unconfirmed. It sounds like a cross between "Fly" and "I Need a Doctor" imo. Either way, this is soooo commercial and has the potential to be her biggest hit yet.

I dunno, it all feels a bit...lifeless?

 

skylar's intro is too long as well and feels oddly detached from nicki's parts. essentially two different equally boring songs in one.

i love this, sounds like something picked straight out of Pink Friday as you said April, which is an excellent thing because it's by far her best album. Really hope we get some more stuff like the songs on Pink Friday. Is this is a single?

Sounds incredible in HQ + explicit. I think this is the best single of The Pinkprint era. Apparently this was supposed to be the first single, but they chose "Pills N Potions" instead.

 

It's been added to US iTunes, so hopefully we'll get it on UK iTunes ASAP.

Probably the weakest of the era for me so far, but she just keeps on delivering. I do love vulnerable Nicki.

 

Very Pink Friday as has been said, and that can only be a good thing. I am actually so excited for this album.

Really nice effort from Nicki Minaj and Skylar Grey, I'm glad this is preceding the album's release - as opposed to "Anaconda". Still shocked at how this album release has been handled though - December 15th is far too late to have left this, and no pre-orders etc. Is it too much to hope that it'll be a low-peaker but long-running/high-selling album?
