November 11, 201411 yr It was obvious Cheryl wouldn't be too high by the end of the week, but I thought she'd start higher than Queen and Ed! 'I Don't Care' is holding up well so far though.
November 11, 201411 yr I guess The Veronicas' pre-orders aren't included in this set of midweeks then. Yay for Tom Odell coming for that top 5 single! Edited November 11, 201411 yr by Joe.
November 11, 201411 yr Cheryl's quite a way ahead of Taylor Swift at #7 so I'd imagine she can keep #6 at least until Friday!
November 11, 201411 yr I guess The Veronicas' pre-orders aren't included in this set of midweeks then. I was just thinking that, it's what boosted it so far in the early hours of this morning. I'm hoping that'll help it out for tomorrow/the rest of the week.
November 11, 201411 yr I can't imagine Gareth Malone was on much more than 10k up to last night. Must have sold over 25k in three hours!
November 11, 201411 yr Additional info: Cheryl's album has sold 11.3k so far. Taylor Swift is a position behind her, on sales of 6.6k.
November 11, 201411 yr Those Pink Floyd and Foos sales are incredible, wow :o I thought Cheryl would end up at 3 or 4 with about 45-50k in total, didn't think she'd miss the top five but I guess it's a busy week.
November 11, 201411 yr I cant help but love that chart position for Cheryl. I mean it is still 50 places too high but it does go to show people aren't that stupid and might buy a throw away song by her but would never invest in an album by her.

I was a massive fan of GA, but I've never once considered buying any of her albums sadly. :( I've listened to them all and given them a fair chance: the first one was mostly terrible, the second album was the worst album I ever heard, the third one was okay and I'll give this one a listen sometime this week.

I don't get your reasoning, there obviously are people to buy her albums since she's charting at #6 in one of the busiest weeks of the year with over 11k sold already  It might not be your cup of tea, but no need to call people "stupid" when they enjoy her music, this is uncalled for. Agreed about the second album, for me the first one was OK, but I LOVED the third one (the only one I bought). This one isn't great on first listen.
November 11, 201411 yr sammy01 will make anything Cheryl does sound like a flop somehow. She's doing fine, it's just a super competitive week. I'd say Only Human is by FAR her best album, very cohesive and loads of excellent tracks, minimal filler. A Million Lights is almost all great for me too, the other two are a bit mixed but aren't awful imo.
November 11, 201411 yr I think that she will have pretty cool boost after CIN performance in Thursday.
November 11, 201411 yr Good to see the Veronicas are top 10. I am so pleased Cheryl Cole isn't top 5.
