Yeah they've got a full UK tour coming up in Novmeber. :D

 

I think they choose Blackpool because it was mainly to do with Radio 1, in that The Killers come from Vegas and Blackpool is reffered to as the Vegas of the north so they chose Blackpool as the venue.

Yeah, not a justifiyable excuse to delete, since the albums selling f*cking bucket loads as it is...I mean, normally I wouldn't care, because I'm not really a fan of Snow Patrol, but Chasing Cars is an AMAZING song, so it deserves the best possibile chart-run.

If it's being deleted it's most probably because the physical is selling such small amounts there is no point pressing a tiny amount of copies each time to satisfy the demand for it. It's a perfectly logical decision really...

Any chance of the Killers being the second ever "number one on downloads alone" - i'm hoping there won't be any more in 2006 - making Gnarls' all the more special.

 

The Killers' new song is seriously overrated though. Give me Mr Brightside/Somebody Told Me - anyday. All These Things That I Have Done is better too...i'm hoping for better stuff with the album.

I dont think they will - its the biggest shakira single since....ever...even though I hate it - it's chart run is impressive, so I think it would be a shame to delete it. I'm surprised it has sold so well. Considering I heard this song first as part of the Dirty Dancing 2 soundtrack well over a year ago.

and me too. Snow Patrol's album is selling well, because the single is liked by so many. Surely the sales of Chasing Cars have surpassed You're All I Have in the year-to-date charts?

It would be a unique chart run if the song left the chart just after reaching its peak. Why would they deleted something that is clearly shooting up the charts? Imagine if they deleted "You´re Beautiful" last year when it was # 11.
