December 6, 201410 yr Author JJ in his undies is literally the best thing ever, seems to happen often in his work too *.* http://i.imgur.com/ktCawqZ.jpg
December 6, 201410 yr Author http://www.billboard.com/files/media/sara-evans-slow-me-down.jpg 10: Sara Evans - Slow Me Down UK Peak: n/a US Peak: #9 lexeFtDREPg Regina's Picks: 1: Slow Me Down 2: If I Run 3: Can't Stop Loving You 4: Put My Heart Down 5: You Never Know Country music now. Well, slightly. Sara Evans is a fab country singer, but she has gone down the route of Shania with Up! and Faith Hill with Cry by toning down the country sound and upping the pop sound. All in all, a great album, the title track is easily one of her finest moments. There are one or two duds on it, but on the whole, one of the best country-ish albums of the year.
December 7, 201410 yr Ah cool! My faves were "Slow Me Down", "Revival", "Can't Stop Loving You" and "Put My Heart Down". Really good stuff from Sara (as always) :D Great to see "Believer" from American Authors get a mention too  Edited December 7, 201410 yr by Riser
December 7, 201410 yr Author Glad to see some Sara appreciation <3 -- http://www.billboard.com/files/sheryl-crow-feels-like-home-510.jpg 09: Sheryl Crow - Feels Like Home UK Peak: #16 US Peak: #7 35inDdP2IOY Regina's Picks: 1: Waterproof Mascara 2: Best Of Times 3: Callin' Me When I'm Lonely 4: Easy 5: Give It To Me From a country star going pop to a pop star going country now. Well, Sheryl has always had a tinge of Country to her, but she went full country for her latest album. What a stunning album, easily one of the best of this genre I have heard. She has a perfect voice for doing this kind of music and manages to have ballads as good as the uptempos and a good amount of each. Managed to outpeak her last 2 albums here in the UK which is FAB. I demand you all go download at least one of the tracks I mentioned above.
December 7, 201410 yr Author http://assets.gcstatic.com/u/apps/asset_manager/uploaded/2014/39/olly-murs-never-been-better-album-cover-1412065589-custom-0.png 08: Olly Murs - Never Been Better UK Peak: #1 US Peak: n/a CH9wgVpUhnc Regina's Picks: 1: We Still Love 2: Beautiful To Me 3: Stick With Me 4: Up (feat. Demi Lovato) 5: Wrapped Up (feat. Travie McCoy) Only a few weeks old and already slaying. Olly has been pretty consistant with his albums, I love all of them and this is easily as good as his flawless debut. Some different-ish songs here but the album follows the same formula that he has followed, but when you see how big he is, it's no wonder. We Still Love as a bonus only is a major flaw though, it should be a standard track and then be a single tbh.
December 8, 201410 yr Sheryl's album was very pleasant, first album of hers I've listened to in a while! Easy came on shuffle the other day
December 9, 201410 yr cant say ive heard anything its all very single mum in cheltenham but that is no bad thing!! <333

She has a lovely little voice too. This is her 3rd album, her other two are stunning. This is an album full of covers, some more obscure than others. Her version of Human is, IMO, better than the original. She is never gonna be a success when it comes to her music, but I doubt she wants to be, she is making music for the sole reason she loves it, and I love it too.
December 9, 201410 yr Author http://cardiffstudentmedia.co.uk/quench/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2014/04/km.png 06: Kylie Minogue - Kiss Me Once UK Peak: #2 US Peak: n/a wSFhSZ9tJ3w Regina's Picks: 1: If Only 2: Sexercise 3: Into The Blue 4: Sleeping With The Enemy 5: Les Sex http://i.imgur.com/dl6KvQY.gif Kylie releases an album and not only does it not make it to #1 in my EOY, but it misses the top 5 entirely?!?!? Yes, well, there is a lot wrong with this album. The existence of I Was Gonna Cancel, the kinda odd cover, the lack of what was promised by her, the lack of Skirt, the lack of SWTE on the main tracklist. There are many pluses too, If Only is easily one of the best songs of her career, SLUTLIE coming out in full force in Sexercise and Into The Blue being divine. Not a big era for Mini, but still, a decent album, if a bit safe.

Jack Mizrahi) 2: First Love 3: Let It Be Me 4: Expertease (Ready Set Go) 5: Booty (feat. Pitbull/Iggy Azalea) As with Kylie, Jenny Lo had a bit of a flop era, but the album was top notch. Not as good as Love? but then, very few albums are, this was a return to UrbanLo and it worked for me. DanceLo is still there and there is a nice bit of BalladLo with Vocal-Lo thrown in *.* The ballads on this album are amazing. The poppier songs tend to outshine the urban ones, but a few of them, like Same Girl are just flawless.
December 11, 201410 yr Author http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61jExBypTxL.jpg 04: Ryan Adams - Ryan Adams UK Peak: #6 US Peak: #4 ojxdyV2gMys Regina's Picks: 1: Shadows 2: Am I Safe 3: Trouble 4: Gimme Something Good 5: My Wrecking Ball An odd addition to the Regina Collection maybe. I didn't know anything about this fella before this album, other than that he is Mandy Moore's hubby, an odd pairing if ever I saw one. This is shockingly his 14th studio album, he throws out albums all the time, but this is one of his best. Rock at its best, he is a lyrical genius with a great voice to boot. With added vocals from wifey and Johnny Depp (yes indeed) this is easily one of the finest of 2014.
December 12, 201410 yr Regina! Pleased to see you like 'Chapter One', quite a few gems on there! 'Kiss Me Once' is decent on the whole, bar one or two iffy tracks. Overall it's not the abomination some would say it is! 'AKA' was fairly unremarkable but 'Expertease (Ready Set Go)' is everything. *.*
December 12, 201410 yr Author http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140524015829/lyricwiki/images/c/c8/Phillip_Phillips_-_Behind_The_Light.jpg 03: Phillip Phillips - Behind The Light UK Peak: n/a US Peak: #7 aXRODrspQpc Regina's Picks: 1: Raging Fire 2: Searchlight 3: Fly 4: Trigger 5: Grace The most talented and most beautiful American Idol winner since Kelly Clarkson tbh. Phillip's second album came out in this country before his first, mess, but it's a better album so it doesn't matter. Raging Fire is just amazing and a really good way to kick off the album. He has a wicked voice that suits itself to the kind of music he makes. There is not one song here that could be a dud, infact, it could easily be my #1 here, the top 3 is very tight. He slips down only because I have not been stanning for him as long as the remaining two artists.

Hydra is the 6th album by Dutch Symphonic Rockers Within Temptation, the first single of which, Paradise, was my 2013 EOY #1 single. A heavier album than their last few, the death growls which were gone since their debut were back, but not overdone. There are only really two ballad-ish songs, but both are stunning, Whole World Is Watching epsecially, which managed to be playlisted on radio 2, indeed awesome. Although, the other version of WWIW is much better IMO. The album became their first top 10 in the UK too, which is amazing for a rock band who have never had any charting singles beforehand. My winner is the return of Sprock Queen Anastacia with her first album of orginal songs since 2008. A return to the sound of her self titled album, it proved to be a good move, it easily outdid Heavy Rotation in terms of quality, if not commercially, although it did return her to the top 10. Stupid Little Things is her best song since Pieces Of A Dream IMO and a perfect lead single. The album is very ballad heavy, but when you consider that since her last original album she has had a heart condition, a divorce and battled breast cancer for the second time, can you blame her? Her voice still sounds incredible and the emotion poured into it can't be beaten. The perfect album from start to finish, even if the new version of Left Outside Alone is a bit...tame.
