YAY at both Vamps songs being fairly low. I'd rank them as Can We Dance > Wild Heart > Last Night > Oh Cecilia > Somebody To You but all reached #1 in my chart and have spent at least 20 weeks there :kink:

Do It All Over Again  I actually prefer A Billion Girls, I realise I'm like the only one who actually likes it but it's gonna be a shame to ultimately see it top 10 here. :(

Ten Walls is hopefully still quite a way off being announced.

I quite like DIAOA but I thought ABG's verses were fairly week tbh. Great chorus though :D

Not even ashamed to admit that A Billion Girls is in my top 30 of the year lmao. Do It All Over Again is top 50 too. :kink:

Actually checked to see how many points Ten Walls got lel. It will be up pretty soon, I expected it to be lower but more songs than I thought didn't really get that many points. Seems the hate was largely concentrated on a few songs ~

Why is 'Don't Stop' the lowest 5SOS song? That's by FAR their worst...

It looks like Buzzjack have been kind to One Direction this year, as they only have one entry this year with the title track from their 3rd album (unfortunately You & I and Steal My Girl just missed out, getting only 3 nominations). It's one of their worst songs to date so I'm glad it underperformed chartwise. Would take SMG being a big hit over this any day, this song actually sounds like something 5SOS would do which is definitely not a good thing.

Yes Ten Walls is catchy but I too agree it's quite repetitive. Perhaps if he worked on the song longer it could have been an Animals hit (Garrix, not Maroon Flop )

I'm nearly certain he wasn't creating it to become a massive commercial hit, he didn't need to work on anything longer it works perfectly fine as a well-produced deep house track.

Midnight Memories is my 2nd least fave 1D single (ahead of Gotta Be You of course), it's good but I'm glad if they had to have any inclusions here, it was this one.

38. Cheryl Cole feat. Tinie Tempah - Crazy Stupid Love

How can you guys not love that hot mess of a trumpet solo though? This became Cheryl's record-equalling fourth solo #1, she then went on to break the record with 'I Don't Care'. It's definitely not bad anyway, it got 10 plays from me.

Was a really disappointing comeback single tbh following the amazing Call My Name. That trumpet breakdown just felt shoehorned in and the rap was pretty shoddy as well.

Exactly this, it doesn't sound like a hit because it wasn't supposed to. I'm still astonished the public took so much to it really as it's so different to every other top 10 hit of the year, even other deep house tracks.

Who is Cheryl Cole? :heehee:

Good to see loads of good songs dropping out relatively low. Crazy Stupid Love is one of the best of the year you silly people!!1!

37. Ed Sheeran - Sing

Can you believe this was Ed's FIRST EVER UK #1??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His comeback single was going straight for the top spot obviously as he had gained lots of popularity with his first album and kept it going with the Hobbit soundtrack single 'I See Fire' (which is awful by the way). I like 'Sing' though, always good to have Ed doing mid tempos, although it really has overstayed its welcome in the chart which may be why it's this high.

'I See Fire' is not awful thank you very much. One of his best songs (as is 'Sing').

Impromptu Ed singles rank

1 You Need Me, I Don't Need You

2 I See Fire

3 Sing

4 The A Team

5 Thinking Out Loud

6 Lego House

7 Give Me Love

8 Small Bump

9 Don't

10 Drunk

I adore all of that top 7 though  'Small Bump' is also very good and 'Don't'/'Drunk' aren't bad but both got old.

You are all awful for letting this be in the countdown -_- Deep house producer Ten Walls somehow got a hit with this thanks to the power of R1 airplay and it being massive in the dance scene prior to said airplay, for which a lot of buzzjackers were thankful for as hearing this in the chart was amazing. Such a good song

It was glorious hearing this in the official charts, one of the great surprises this year! But I can understand why people wouldn't like it too it felt like a divisive song. At least it's fairly low on this countdown...

35. Tiesto - Red Lights

It's very generic but it pulls the generic dance sound off well, I'm surprised it's this that's charting instead of Wasted which I thought got far more hate. I guess "The Naked Version" won everyone over B-) It was good to see Red Lights give Tiesto a long awaited top 10 hit, just a shame that he felt the need to make every track on the album really generic.

a truly iconic hit. i'd expected it to be a bit higher, due to the amount of people failing to understand the song's brilliance, but at least some voters kept their sensibility/sanity intact~

(edit: obvs referring to Ten Walls, not that Tiesto garbage x)
