My guess would be La Roux's Trouble In Paradise looking at the banner! :o

And if Joseph quickly manages to edit in the answer to the other question [which for help is 9 posts above and I have already revealed the answer for] then Joseph will win today :cheer:

For Day 2 we take a bit of a break away from the music as we look at some of the best TV programmes and Movies of 2014. These should be big contenders at my end of year awards and I have attached trailers to each TV Programme and Movie

TV

Citizen Khan

Happy Valley

Homeland

The 100

The Fall

The X Factor

MOVIES

If I Stay

Interstellar

The Fault In Our Stars

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

The Maze Runner

TODAY'S CHRISTMAS TREE- Joseph's Name is at the top of the tree after winning yesterday's easter eggs questions and Slayberry and Insomnio's names are at the bottom as they got 1 of them correct. All the winners each day will also be entered into something to be announced on day 10 but please still keep guessing even if you have already won

BONUS EASTER EGGS QUESTIONS: There is a movie poster hidden in the title at the start of this post and 1 album cover hidden in the tree again. If you can get both of these correct, you will be part of Day 3 tomorrow :)

hunger games is one of my big highlights of film releases this year, x-men too !

I saw TFIOS at one of those week early screenings, I adored the book so for me it didn't surprise me how amazing the film was :kink: Great to see you loved it and of course boom clap will do well here

Hunger games is stunning and I also really loved the new x-men film, it was the 1st X-Men film I ever saw in the cinema :o

Does anyone want the odds for movies and tv. I really want to do them but not unless anyone is interested :)

The 100 is one of my favourite shows of the year, great choice! I've been watching Season 2 online and it just gets better and better.

I haven't seen any of the movies, will probably have to wait to see Mockingjay Part 1 until it's out on blu-ray! :snif: I loved the first two films though.

The Fall is amazing. Jamie Dornan is all kinds of sexy/creepy and Gillian Anderson has shown me she is an incredible actress.

The Maze Runner was a pleasant surprise for me this year!

Definitely agree about the fall and glad to see you enjoyed them both

Thanks for commenting Joe

Any more guesses for yesterday's banner, a clue is that it is a recent film

FIRST CATEGORY ODDS + COMMENTARY: DRAMA FIELDS

Please comment on TV shows below you've seen and speculate on the awards and odds :)

Best Drama

Homeland 2/1

Happy Valley 2/1

The 100 3/1

The Fall 3/1

In The Club 6/1

Call The Midwive 6/1

Waterloo Road 11/1

Prey 15/1

The Honorable Woman 15/1

The Lost Honour Of Christopher Jefferies 22/1

Chasing Shadows 25/1

Houdini 28/1

Nashville 45/1

Sherlock 45/1

This year should see a load of fresh faces as Broardchurch, Prisoners Wives and The Syndicate are all not here this year. This category had 6 nominees last year and this year it may increase to 9 nominees. The winner of this award 2 years ago, Homeland looks set to be favourite after a stunning Series 4. However amazing new drama Happy Valley, American series The 100 and one of last years nominees The Fall should all prove incredibly tough competition and get noms for themselves. Last years winner Call The Midwife should do enough to secure a nomination but it will very likely not repeat its glory success and In The Club should also get a nom.

Best Actor

John Simm- Prey 2/1

Jamie Dornan- The Fall 3/1

Jason Watkins- The Lost Honour Of Christopher Jefferies 3/1

Adrien Brody- Houdini 3/1

James Norton- Happy Valley 5/1 (not sure whether main or supporting)

Andrew Buchan- The Honourable Woman 7/1

Reece Shearsmith- Chasing Shadows 8/1

Benedict Cumberbatch- Sherlock 18/1

Another really tough category with a big 4 horse race looking likely to occurring. Leading the nominations is John Simm's excellent performance in the very good Prey but could another performance in another programme that is favourite to win worst programme this year hamper his chances for Prey. Last years winner Jamie Dornan looks likely to do very well again while Jason Watkins and Adrien Brody are also contenders for their performances in their short series.

Best Actress

Claire Danes- Homeland 1/2

Gillian Anderson- The Fall 1/2

Sarah Lancashire- Happy Valley 2/1

Maggie Gyleenhaal- The Honourable Woman 2/1

Eliza Taylor- The 100 4/1

Jessica Raine- Call The Midwive 4/1

Hermoine Norris- In The Club 8/1

Jill Halfpenny- In The Club 8/1

Katherine Parkinson- In The Club 8/1

Hayden Panettiere- Nashville 10/1

Kristen Connolly- Houdini 10/1

Laurie Brett- Waterloo Road 15/1

Alex Kingston- Chasing Shadows 16/1

Wow at this category as those top 5 are probably my favourite 5 performances this year, the top 4 being my favourite of the last few years. Leading the very close race at the top is Claire Danes who is aiming for a 3rd successive win as Carrie. However Gillian Anderson was even stronger this year in The Fall and could easily win. Then we have Sarah Lancashire who gave a stunning performance in Happy Valley, Maggie Gyleenhaal and Eliza Taylor as well competing

Best Supporting Actor

James Norton- Happy Valley 2/1 (not sure whether main or supporting)

Stephen Rea- The Honourable Woman 4/1

Mandy Patkisin- Homeland 7/1

Sacha Darwin- In The Club 8/1

Steve Pemberton- Happy Valley 10/1

Rupert Friend- Homeland 10/1

Colin Morgan- The Fall 12/1

Suraj Sharma- Homeland 16/1

Martin Freeman- Sherlock 20/1

This feels like quite a weak category and James Norton will probably win for his great performance if he ends up in supporting but I am not sure whether to put him in main or supporting. Stephen Rea's performance in The Honourable Woman coud also see him win or can Mandy Patkisin scoop another performance for his performance as Saul.

Best Supporting Actress

Aisling Franciosi - The Fall 1/3

Lubna Azabel- The Honourable Woman 2/1

Naomi Battrick- Waterloo Road 3/1

Miranda Hart- Call The Midwive 3/1

Rosie Cavaliero- Prey 5/1

Paige Turco- The 100 7/1

Helen George- Call The Midwive 7/1

Laila Robins- Homeland 8/1

Katherine Parkinson- The Honourable Woman 8/1

Bronagh Waugh- The Fall 12/1

Clare Bowen- Nashville 20/1

This is probably the only Drama category that isn't wide open as Aisling Franciosi pretty much has this in the bag for her role as Katie Benedetto in The Fall. However Lubna Azabel could also win for her performance as Atika.

The other odds will be up soon but without commentary because I can't really think of much to write till the nominations are finalised

Happy Valley was a real UK TV highlight for me this year. It had me gripped and on the edge of my seat throughout! I'm interested where they go for the second series.

This series of Homeland has really excited me again after I started becoming bored of it last year. They've brought it back to its peak with all the suspense and twists.
