Pixie Lott has missed the Top 100 with her hits album :o

Is that Idina Menzel album CHRISTMAS Wishes or HOLIDAY Wishes (latter in the US)

It is 'Christmas Wishes' in the UK - God knows why it has a different title here (I understand it's a politically correct religion-neutral title in the USA but why not just use that title everywhere?)

Because they probably wanted to make sure her album came up in searches as we're more likely to search for 'christmas' than we are 'holiday'.

Can we plz not have petty squabbling in this thread of all places. (Second time I've had to do this in like 3 weeks gawd)

travesty :( should've been much bigger

Pharrell Williams' "Happy" breaking the record for most weeks Top 40 was noted in here and elsewhere a few weeks ago, but what has not been mentioned is that John Legend's "All Of Me" equalled the longest consecutive Top 30 run before dropping out this week.

The record it tied with? The same one that Pharrell beat - Acker Bilk's "Stranger On The Shore"

The all-time top 30 (non-consecutive) weeks list may get shaken up a little bit more in the next few weeks

47 - "Rock Around The Clock" - Bill Haley & His Comets

41 - "All Of Me" - John Legend

"Stranger On The Shore" - Mr Acker Bilk with the Leon Young String Chorale

40 - "Relax" - Frankie Goes To Hollywood

"Sex On Fire" - Kings Of Leon

"Fairytale Of New York" - Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl

39 - "Happy" - Pharrell Williams

36 - "My Way" - Frank Sinatra

"I Believe" - Frankie Laine

34 - "I Love You Because" - Jim Reeves

"All I Want For Christmas Is You" - Mariah Carey

33 - "Ho Hey" - Lumineers

32 - "Rather Be" - Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne

31 - "Let It Go" - Idina Menzel

"Sexy And I Know It" - LMFAO

"Counting Stars" - OneRepublic

....

28 "Stay With Me" - Sam Smith

There some horror songs in that list! So in only 2/3 years the Pogues should have the non-consecutive record and the likelihood is they'll never be caught...

Positions outside of the Top 100 which may be of interest:

#107 Pixie Lott - Platinum Pixie

#118 Iggy Azalea - Reclassified

#111 Iggy Azalea - Beg For It

#120 Olly Murs - Up

Not a great week for Iggy Azalea! :o

Billboard in America has also credited Jennifer Lawrence. See relevant thread.

I think this is a case of Michael Jackson feat. Justin Timberlake again.

Not really because the Justin Timberlake version exists separately from the MJ solo version. There isn't a version of 'The Hanging Tree' without Jennifer Lawrence's vocals, she just isn't credited for them on the release.

I do expect 'Pompeii' to drop out this week but it does seem to be quite good at scraping in :P Both 'Halcyon' and 'The 1975' seem to be just on the verge of dropping out too so Arctic Monkeys and London Grammar may be the joint leaders of the album longevity list within the next few weeks.
