Ed Sheeran for #1 next week performing Monday night on ITVs Royal Variety Performance and Thursday BBC1 Music Awards :cheer:

These performances will more than likely propel him back to the top of the album chart and keep him there well into the new year.

I hope not. Nine weeks is too much for him. Besides, we want this to be the first year since 1990 to go without a chart double

I saw the Band Aid single in HMV last night so they must have panicked about the fall in sales and released it early
Have to hand in to UJ and their Management team in the battle for the #1 - They have reduced the price of their single to 49p in all the Morrisons stocking the single - The sold all the copies at their signing today and have one in London tomorrow so I'm sure they will be trying to flog as many as possible. Interesting tactic!

Highly doubt it will be enough to get them to #1 this Sunday, but it might just get to #1 on the sales chart

I am out of words :drama:

Ed Sheeran is really getting on my nerves now.

As for Take That, they're never going to pull more than one hit single from an album again so I doubt they're overly bothered in that respect. The major album decline is a worry, but not unexpected. They did well to remain so enormous for as long as they did. Buble and Coldplay used to be of a similar stature and haven't exactly smashed records with their most recent studio albums either.

They might get another top three, as they usually shift a few hundred thousand more albums usually on debut week.

It happens all the time cd singles getting put out early if they're there esp if the downloads available
