December 21, 201410 yr Now release 'Leave Your Lover' you sillybean. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I read an interview a while ago where he said there'd only be one more single after 'I'm Not The Only One' so unless he/the label change their minds, it's time for you to let go I'm afraid. Edited December 21, 201410 yr by Mistletoahspike

December 21, 201410 yr Author I’ve been saving all my summers for you WZzcY7ASQno 23. Marina & the Diamonds - Froot WHAT a comeback. Ha froot was certainly fresh. A humongous debut pick from Marina's upcoming album (which hopefully lives up to this and becomes one of my sounds of 2015). The song is zany and manages to throw in every fruit pun possible, but within all of the madness, it just works. There is something so incredibly uplifting and fun that it dominated my airwaves for weeks after it got released. The video was a bit of a disappointment - i spent many a shower time imagining and recreating the video in my head and so when we eventually got the visuals i was somewhat gutted that my own ideas didn't come into fruition. But the sounds, which are what matter here, did not disappoint in the slightest and it's so good to have her back <3
December 21, 201410 yr Author I've got to make you mine s6riHyxsUl0 22. Trevor Something - All Night We return to Espen for our next entry. A very funky, 'Get Lucky' sounding song that won me over in the contest but continued to grow on me throughout the year. The whole concept of Trevor Something - his aesthetics, songs, lyrics and styling are so retro and cool and nostalgic. This song is my clear favourite from him. I love how you are instantly taken to seedy night clubs or ghostly settings, in those retro movies you've seen and only dreamt about visiting. A very dreamy experience, there are little songs that have such an affect on me and make me imagine beyond what i am usually able to. I love when music is able to transport you to another place and time, and this song does it effortlessly. I struggle to explain exactly how it affects me, so just listen and see what it does to you~
December 21, 201410 yr Author Let’s split the night wide open and we’ll see everything eKLBiC-b3O0 12. One Direction - FOUR Ready To Run / 18 / Night Changes One Direction's most mature album to date and easily their best for me. An album that shows maturity not only in the songwriting but the entire concept and sound. They've ditched the sprightly pop of the former records for a warmer more natural sound here and it really pays off. I knew they were on to something special when i heard the lead single. The follow up took its time to grow on me, but it's now a firm favourite of mine. On the album, songs such as 'Ready To Run' and 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go' show a beautiful, friendly side to the band, and reminds us how mellow they all once were. There are lovely ballads throughout too, especially '18' but overall the album shines in the personality offered by the five-piece. They have come a long way in the past few years, but it's admirable to see that even following the peak of their huge global success, they are able to stand back from it all and create a well accomplished, mature album without breaking down under the pressure. They seem to be going from strength to strength with each album which is rare to see, so i'm still excited for their future! --xxx-- 12. One Direction - FOUR 13. Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour 14. December 21, 201410 yr Author Everything's a game NL9T42SVnN0 21. Banks – Brain Just missing out on the all important top 20 is a song that ate into my brain for a good portion of the year. Banks's freaked out, warped vocals and crazed lyrics make for her most interesting song to date. An incredible powerhouse of moans and groans while always remaining classy, it's a talent for her to come across so deranged yet so in control of herself and her voice and her thoughts at the same time. But away from these tricks, there is a very rich song; one about power and loss and dominance and one where she flips traditional thoughts and ideas to present the truth. It's a power-ballad gone wrong, but it's oh so right.

December 22, 201410 yr Author Rejuvenated, recreated, rebooted, in a new program 2CIBMYzpACM 11. Kid Cudi - SATELLITE FLIGHT: The journey to Mother Moon Balmain Jeans / Going to the Ceremony / Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now Narrowly missing out on the top 10, and the highest solo male album of the year for me :o is Kid Cudi who here returns following the fiery 'Indicud' to resume the trilogy of the Moon. The album is an incredibly dark and twisted fantasy ride, that really feels as it if it is taking you to the moon and beyond. Scattered throughout it are daring instrumental tracks which go about establishing the setting of the album - it's otherworldly. But where the album shines, is in the vocal moments of Cudi, as it's his lyrics which speak louder than anything. In moments such as 'Balmain Jeans' and 'Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now', Cudi is the monster, searching for his prey. It's a highly established piece of music that continues between each track never letting go. A difficult listen, but so rewarding when you can get into it and take the journey. I love the futuristic sounds that he's employed throughout the album - you're never quite sure what you're listening to, but you know that it's affecting. The atmosphere of the album is unlike any other this year and it makes for the perfect end to the journey of the Man on the Moon. --xxx-- 11.
