I have only recently discovered her but I really love her and think she has so much potential. She is working with Timbaland on her début album and getting it ready for release early next year. Timba has claimed it is the most exciting project he has worked on since Aailyah's 'One In A Million' which is high praise indeed. She can write fantastic lyrics, rap and sing (voice slightly reminds me of a mix between Jhene Aiko and early Rihanna).

 

So much potential.

Just got around to listening to some of these. She's great! Especially 'Tell the Children'. I have a feeling the R&B/Hip-Hop females are going to have a good year this year! Timba has said that he's looking forward to this year and has dubbed it as the year of the females or something! So looking forward to hearing more from this lady and obviously Keri Hilson and her comeback!

 

'Ratchet Commandments' is out there now, produced by Timbaland and appears to be first single.

 

Safe to say I f***ing love it, get a slight Lauryn vibe. Yes Tink.

Album title confirmed to be 'Think Tink' and apparently coming in late July. Also confirmed that the album with contain a Missy Elliot collaboration.

 

Don't really like the title but yaaay for some plans.

If I am honest, it is the least sure I have been of a song from this project so far. Feel like there is too much sampling in the Timba production and it becomes slightly messy as a result.

Yeah I agree about Million :( I've given it a week or so but it's not there for me, I can't get into it properly.

So because the release of the debut has been pushed back from it's original stated July release date, Tink has decided she would treat us to some other new music to tide over the wait, with the release of her 3rd mixtape 'Winter's Diary 3'.

 

Really chilled and lovely stuff. Can obviously see why these songs are mixtape songs rather than album tracks, but doesn't make it any less of a lovely listen. You can stream the mixtape here:
