Taylor Swift's '1989' Set for Sixth Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200

Billboard (December 19th, 2014):

"Taylor Swift's 1989 is heading back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest the album may sell over 340,000 copies in the week ending Dec. 21, while its overall album consumption figure could approach 390,000.

Two new albums are on course for top 10 debuts on the new chart: Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint and D’Angelo and the Vanguard's surprise album release Black Messiah. Minaj's album may sell around 160,000 copies, while D'Angelo's set could shift 100,000."

Thrilled D'Angelo is still looking to do 100k. Continued relevance after a 14 year hiatus. King.
Impressive consistent sales for Taylor and Pentatonix!!!!! Still Top 2 and strong numbers for both!!! Charlie XCX deserves better sales and the numbers look good for Nicki, considering the 2014 climate. What was her opening sales for her last album??

It was 253k :o And it was even higher with 'Pink Friday'! I think she could push for 200k (with streams) considering her projections apparently increased from an original 150k to 160k (sales only). That's what one of the links I posted above says anyways

It's not exactly surprising for Charli to sell that much. She has no prior fanbase and one hit to her name (which is quite old at this stage). If anything it's impressive her fanbase is that big.
I wasn't expecting anything that much for Charli, I wondered at first if the fact she wasn't mentioned anywhere there meant it hadn't ended up being released or something.
Oh, it's definitely out. I downloaded it the other day. Can't wait for it to be out here, it's amazing! Not surprising that it's not even set to sell 30k, hopefully it'll fair okay here...
Am I right that the UK Christmas #1 album sold about 2/3 of the US one?!
They are having tremendous success after winning a talent reality show, The Sing Off. Plus, two of the members have a really popular YouTube channel called Superfruit.
