Yeah if someone could fill me in on which information I'll need to include (is there a template I need to use?) then I'll be up for the early slot.

It would just be the basics. I'll do one tomorrow so you can all see the format for these things.
Unfortunately, whatever they announce on Wednesday will not be the definitive Top 100 of 2014, as the sales week 28/12/14-3/1/15, announced next Sunday, will be the actual Y/E.

I don't think that's true. Today's chart will be week 52

The "actual" year end chart should count sales from 1 Jan to 31 Dec surely? OCC should be able to do that. Unfortunately the R1 one will miss out that last day of sales but what can ya do, it makes more sense to do a chart of the year on NYE.

Ah that'd be great, thanks! I'll be setting my alarm on the 30th right then for the next day, can't be letting Buzzjack down. 6:15 here I come!

I'll join you there! I imagine a lot buzzjack won't bother waking up early though (Bra probably won't be up until midday )

prepare to be annoyed when the chart doesn't start at 6:30 am though  but I'd wake up then just incase it does.

The year end chart should run from NYD to NYE and have them announce it on New Years Day

I initially thought this however the corresponding date of W/E 10.01 was in 2004 and 2009 and on both occasions the OCC treated these as 2004 and 2009 sales not the previous years. I'm hoping it is clarified by them today.

Maybe so but we get what we get......

Yes - but there are 53 weeks this chart year - if more than half the last week of the year falls in the year just gone, then its sales count towards the old year, not the new.

I'll be setting my alarmto 6:00am or earlier aswell. Whether I can get out of bed by 6:30am or not is another story.

Is it actually #141 for this year?

I doubt it lol, sales would have to be really poor for that to be in the top 150 sellers of the year.

Which is the lowest selling year-end #1 single (post-1980)?
Which is the lowest selling year-end #1 single (post-1980)?

That would be 2003's 'Where is the Love?' by Black Eyed Peas which sold 625k, I believe.

If it weren't for Band Aid 20, 2004 would have the record with Eamon's 'F**K It (I Don't Want You Back)' which sold 552k.

This is funny, Idina Menzel never reached the Top 10 weekly, but it looks like she will make the Top 10 on the End of Year Chart.
