Perhaps the sentiments in "Prayer in C" were too controversial for some to warm to in the same way as Waves?

 

It's possible but then wasn't it even bigger over in Europe? It's the sort of song where I wouldn't say people really listen to the lyrics. I think the lyrics are really cool and send a good message however, poignant and perhaps dissonant to the sound of the song, that might not have resonated with everyone but it certainly resonated with me.

Sometimes I really wish this had a 15-33-out run to save it from overplay :(

An amazing top 2 though Rather Be is better. I adore rather be and it is a fabulous dance track while happy is so fun and great to listen to :wub:
