Ellie is lower than I anticipated. I guess she'll pass over Adele by tommorow - hopefully a 20k+ opening is still on target for her.

I think Ellie will do around 30k. Also, she has Graham Norton tonight, so I expect her to be up to #2 afterwards.

For now though,

There's an advert for it on ITV so that should help it greatly! Is she performing anywhere?

Not sure, she did Breakfast the other day though and I think G.A.Y?

Her last GH seems to be gone too, other than the remix verison, so that'll help too.

i thought bowie's album was a preorder, thought it as out Jan 8
Adele #1. :o

I was thinking she might find it difficult to overtake Bieber, but it's looking now that there might be a slight chance she'll get the #1 officially ! :o

I'm surprised NOW 92 can't overtake Adele. I reckon it will be the first time since 2009 where an artist album outsells a NOW album in its first week

There's nothing surprising there! I don't think Adele will budge from #1 on iTunes for a long time.

It is, I imagine it has just been put on pre-order as the lead single has been released.

You are joking, right?

I'm surprised because no artist album has passed 100k first week sales this year and the only two albums to pass 100k have been regular NOW albums

But this is Adele, you may have heard of her, she's been away for a while....

I have heard of her. The last time I remember an artist album outselling a regular NOW album in its first week was SuBo's debut album outselling NOW 74

Yes, but Adele has been projected to do anything between 250 - 700k in her first week.
