In regards to #1 albums of 2015, it seems to be a repeat of the #1 singles in the middle of last year - no album so far has spent two or more consecutive weeks at #1 this year and it doesn't seem like it's going to end soon with Imagine Dragons probably going to #1 this week, followed by Sam Smith again, Noel Gallagher and Madonna, taking the run up to 11.

 

At least the possible upcoming #1s should have good sales rather than reaching #1 due to lack of competition.

It's fishy. I was remembering when 'I Ruin You' by the Veronica's suddenly got a boost after 2/3 days because the preorders only just got factored on iTunes. Could something be happening with the new albums this week?

Charli's album already down to #13. That's pretty underwhelming. I thought having two hits would have given it decent sales.

Ouch for Charli. That's so sad for her. Her album is really strong, it's a shame mediocre pop acts like Meghan Trainor can get a number 1 but this critically acclaimed album is doing nothing. I think the artwork is really awful, it's too garish.
