Seems to be the pop section this, doesn't it? The Vamps drop out but Ms. Lovato still has her Olly Murs collaboration to come. This is a nice summery pop song, but throwaway but still pleasant.

I really like the effort put into it and its lyrics are pretty amazing :wub:

Ah yes, that's how it went, my personal most forgettable #1 of the year, was one of the many average dance tracks that got high in the 2014 charts. I know a lot of people love this song, but I find it distinctly average.

Paloma Faith is one of my favourite artists of the 2010s so far, but her Reshuffle history prior to 2014 has been sketchy and CROY followed suit to give her another minus score. At first, I wasn't too struck on the song but I like it now. Paloma still has two entries left on the chart, both Reshuffle #1s so they might do better.

Another song I enjoyed next, this one took it's time to grow as well, I don't know why though, as the Tori Kelly chorus is really beautiful, and Professor Green's verses are decent too, nothing bad to say about the song really. 5 Seconds Of Summer's last song in the countdown gives out just before the top 80, the song is a good pop rock song, nothing spectacular but still good none the less, given the songs from 2014, I've enjoyed 5SOS's output this year. Don't Stop finishes higher than "Lullaby" as it recieved three "+5"s compared to Lullaby's two.

Neon Jungle are in my view are a bit overrated on Buzzjack, as is the case with this song, which relies a lot on saying "LA LA LA LA LA" and title dropping, the rapping is passable, this song's saving grace is it's production.

It's a good song, with lovely vocals, but i'd have put it more as an album track than a single. And now I didn't forget the stats it just has nearly identical ones to WTTJ.

A bit of a redemption as last year's last place finishes just outside the T75 this year, One Direction still have "Night Changes" left in the countdown, whether or not it can beat their previous YE high of 73rd in 2011 with "What Makes You Beautiful" remains to be seen. My thoughts on the song are the same as last year, although I don't love it by any means, it was hardly the worst of 2013.

Not quite matching their YE peak with "What Makes You Beautiful" (#73), Night Changes still does very well compared to other One Direction songs in Reshuffle. Personally, I love this track even if I did get stick with singing along with it at work, and it's my favourite from them.

Wizard is exceptional! But you are correct it went under the radar due to Animals.

Like "Wizard" IILM is outlasted by a 2013 hangover, in this case "Counting Stars". Alesso also has "Heroes (we could be)". I remain ambivalent to this song, at the moment I prefer "Love Runs Out" to this and CS but that may just be due to overplay. I do think Alesso did a great job with this though. IILM is also the highest placed song on the countdown not to recieve a single "+5", so all that are left are at least loved by SOMEBODY.
