I got mine off the iTunes version and he doesn't feature at all (apart from in the title - Ha) unless he helped with the production too?

- He's not credited on the CD or Spotify versions so I assume they are the same but with the correct crediting?

Ahh ok thanks! That clears it up. I'll just download the solo version then ~

I hear a bit of him at the very very start of the track i think? :o Maybe that's enough to have him credited on it all even when he's not doing the second verse.

So does he not do the second verse on ANY of the official album versions then? He sings the second verse on mine, but as i didn't acquire it too ~legally~ i presume that is just a mistake from the source i got it from? Very confused, apologies ~

He's not on the Spotify album version, so I'm guessing it's the same for iTunes. They've just got a little confused and credited it wrong.

I'm sure it will be given a proper re-release at some point though.

They said not to Popjustice:

Are you going to re-release ‘Take Shelter’ to make it the hit it deserves to be?

Olly: Do you think we should?

Mikey: And do you think we should change it at all?

Get Avicii in ‘for radio’. Job done.

Olly: I don’t think we will re-release it.

FOR f***’S SAKE.

Olly: Sorry! I mean it’s out there. You can still buy it.

Emre: Come on people!

Olly: It’s our most successful YouTube video.

Of course, it's probably not their decision.

I still think they'll re-release it at some point. Maybe not now, but maybe 5 singles down the line or something.
The video for Elastic Heart is an uncomfortable watch. It does scream 'p****'. But then I find the Chandelier video to be quite inappropriate in parts so why am I surprised?

Yeah I'm not a fan of either of the videos to be honest, I find them both a little comfortable to watch.

Yeah it'll be the record company's decision and to be honest they'd be silly not to re-release it cos it's such a good track and would definitely help sell the album (unless they've actually got even better tracks on the album!)

Olly now upto #2

(Sadly it wont last too long )

There's a second version of Uptown Funk at 11.

It's the instant grat sooo we'll see how well that decision goes. Should still sell OK in terms of remaining high the official chart as I doubt the album is going to be big unfortunately.

I'm presuming the second version of 'Uptown Funk' is an instant grat from the album and is the reason why the single version has been deleted?

Given that "Uptown Funk" was a single and "Daffodils" (or was it "Feel Right") was the first instant grat from the album allowed to chart, now that "Uptown Funk" is an instant grat only (single deleted), will it still be able to chart on the singles chart on Sunday?

It will, but only from people who buy the song independently, not through album pre-order sales.

Surely you of ALL people should know how this works considering you were the first person who posted about the change?

The Sia/The Weeknd situation is quite a pickle for my chart spreadsheets as the song charted before on its original release, before the non-Weeknd version existed - if the album / single version doesn't feature him then do I remove The Weeknd's credit? Seems a little unfair but I suppose the Weeknd version could be retroactively called a remix ~

In other news Kid Ink has released a new instant grat and it's at #17. Only thing is iTunes haven't bothered adding the title to it yet so it's showing up as 'Track 5'.

Ahh ok thanks! That clears it up. I'll just download the solo version then ~

The Weeknd sings the second verse on the *original* version that appeared on the Hunger Games soundtrack (currently ~160 on iTunes).

I suppose they've just confused the crediting and assumed that the album and soundtrack version are the same?

I know that, hence why I'm in a pickle over whether to credit him on it or not now :P

Oops. Ignore me then! :D

He is credited on the UK version and having just listened again to the SOLO version of the song (the video version) is that not him doing the creepy "ehh--oooh--ah"s in the background? So even if he doesn't have his verse on the track, he still does feature in some way if that is him (can someone else listen and say whether they think it's him too :P). But if that's not him at the start of the track and in the background of the chorus then get rid... I don't know and i am still a little confused, lol. :(

Don't mind me, just opening cans of worms all over here ~

18. Kid Ink - Track 5

20. Sia Feat The Weeknd & Diplo - Elastic Heart

24. Echosmith - Cool Kids

32. Years & Years - Desire

35. Tulisa - Flopping With You

It appears the physical version of Sia's album doesn't credit either The Weeknd or Diplo as features. Much confusion.

Kid Ink getting another instant grat into the top 20

Not actually heard this one either!

388 Jessie Ware You & I (Forever) :(

401 Mary J. Blige Nobody But You

 both deserve so much more.
