Ms. Gohar Gasparyan - the Armenian Head of Delegation for the Eurovision Song Contest - told ESCToday.com: "We are preparing a big surprise for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest." More details will be released in due course. The Armenian national broadcaster will be disclosing its plans for Vienna in the coming days. Is Sirusho finally returning or could it be BJSC star Lilit Hovhannisyan? :o
January 13, 201510 yr http://escxtra.com/2015/01/internal-selection-for-armtv/ Armenian broadcaster ARMTV has revealed to escXtra.com that they will select their entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 internally. Armenia’s Head of Press, Ruzanna Pilosyan, has also revealed that the name of the Armenian representative will be revealed in February. It’s the second year in a row that Armenia opts for a fully interal selection, after selecting Aram MP3 and his song Not Alone internally as well. The rumour mill surrounding the Armenian representative is, as always, in full swing again. ARMTV will confirm their name in February, but many names have already been mentioned. The name rumoured the most at the moment is Hayk Kasparov.
February 11, 201510 yr Author Rumours are that the Armenian head of delegation (Gohar Gasparyan who has become iconic amongst many Eurovision fans!) has put together a supergroup of "Armenian singers from across the world" including singers who have Armenian roots and are connected with other countries including the United States, Greece, Ethopia, France. If this is the case, it is rumoured the five members of this supergroup could be Tamar Kaprelian, Athena Manoukian (her song 'XO' is amazing), Inga Arshakyan (of 2009 'Jan Jan' fame), Vahe Tilbian and Essaï. A further rumour is that, if this supergroup turns out to be true, the song will be in English and composed by Armen Martirosyan who composed previous Armenian entries 'Without Your Love' and 'Apricot Stone'. This has been a rumour for a month or so now over on ESC Forum and I didn't believe it until just now when Tamar has quoted a tweet about tomorrow's announcement that hinted she could be involved - so maybe this project could be true! Gohar did say she had a big surprise planned! :lol:

March 12, 201510 yr Author I'm actually shocked in a positive way. I was expecting it to be a bit of a disaster, but in fact I really enjoyed it! Essai's diction in the first verse wasn't a great start, but Inga's first chorus was fantastic and from then on I really enjoyed it. Loving Mary-Jean's operatic vocals too towards the end, very dramatic. I'm glad it isn't political either (as far as I can hear), really interesting entry and much better than I was expecting!
